OCTA Properties, fashion house Missoni team up to develop 2 ultra-luxury branded residences in Dubai, RAK

Dubai-based OCTA Properties and Italian luxury fashion house Missoni are preparing to make a significant impact on the branded residential real estate segment in the UAE, with the partnership set to announce two landmark housing projects – one in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) and the other in Dubai. While the high-end branded project in RAK, christened 'Trio Isle Interiors by Missoni', will be developed on Al Marjan Island in the picturesque emirate, the 'Myraaya Isle Interiors by Missoni', the duo's vibrant branded residential project in Dubai, is set to be built on Dubai Islands. The Missoni-OCTA project is also billed as the first fashion-based branded residential project in Dubai Islands – a fast-emerging hub for new property developments in the emirate. The Dubai developer will join hands with Durar Group, a renowned Dubai luxury real estate major, to launch the two branded projects. OCTA Properties, the legacy property management company-turned-developer, is also seeking tie-ups with more niche and glitzy international brands to make further headways to the branded residence segments in Dubai, RAK, and other parts of the UAE and beyond, its top executive told Arabian Business. 'We are highly focused on collaborating with exceptional [international] partners who align with our values of luxury, innovation, and excellence to further augment the company's – as also UAE's – position as a sought-after destination for branded residences,' Fawaz Sous, CEO of OCTA Properties, told Arabian Business in an exclusive interview. 'At OCTA Developments, we are not just adapting to market trends – we are leading the way, setting new benchmarks for functional premium living,' he said. Besides Missoni, OCTA has added Mouawad, the Lebanese luxury jewellery and watchmaking brand, to its list of international partners, for which it has sewed up a 10-year global franchisee partnership. Al Marjan's luxury game-changer Sous said the 'Trio Isle Interiors by Missoni' – OCTA's second collaboration with the iconic Italian brand in Ras Al Khaimah – will be a game-changer for branded residences, and will also elevate the luxury real estate market in the UAE. The project, jointly developed between OCTA and Durar Group, will comprise three striking buildings, each designed with world-class aesthetics and impeccable finishes, with interiors fitted out by the luxury Italian brand, he said. 'The iconic Italian brand, known for its eye-catching style that combines bold colours and graphics with geometric shapes, will offer a harmonious blend of refined living within a pristine waterfront setting on Al Marjan Island,' the OCTA Properties' chief executive said. 'Residents will enjoy the 'TRIO effect' – three levels of podiums, three swimming pools, three restaurants, and three lobbies – ensuring premium living and a true resort-like lifestyle, complemented by more than 15 amenities, offering residents an unparalleled living experience,' he said. Al Marjan Island, renowned for its pristine beaches, will provide an idyllic backdrop for 'Trio Isle Interiors by Missoni', Sous said. He said what makes Al Marjan Island even more attractive is its impressive high occupancy rate and high hotel average room value per night, positioning it as a top-tier tourist destination. 'Combined with RAK's rich cultural heritage, attractive investment climate, and the casino, Al Marjan Island is increasingly drawing global brands like Missoni, looking to capitalize on this unique blend of luxury, leisure, and opportunity,' Sous said. 'Trio Isle Interiors by Missoni' will offer exclusive and spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom units – all infused with Missoni's signature design flair. Missoni's debut in Dubai Sous said the 'Myraaya Isle Interiors by Missoni' will be the first luxury fashion-based brand on the highly anticipated Dubai Islands project. It will offer premium residences with spectacular waterfront living, elevated by Missoni's signature style, he said. 'It is the island's first branded project and Missoni's debut in the area, featuring unobstructed views, modern architecture, premium golf courses, and luxurious amenities.' Sous also said Dubai Islands itself is set to become an incredible destination, aligning with Dubai's 2040 vision, symbolising future living and embodying Dubai's ambition to be the best city in the world to live in. He also revealed the company's ambitious plans to expand its footprint beyond Dubai and RAK. 'We are always evaluating opportunities for expansion. Our decision to enter new territories would be influenced by factors such as market demand, economic stability, and the potential to partner with strong local brands,' Sous said. He said OCTA Properties has an ambitious pipeline, with 14 new projects set to launch in Dubai by March 2025 and a total value close to $2.5 billion (AED 9 billion) by mid-2025. 'Our expansion strategy focuses on being a leading UAE real estate development management company with an ambitious pipeline of exclusive branded residences in prime locations. 'We aim to redefine branded living by partnering with iconic brands to create unique and luxurious living experiences that cater to the evolving needs of discerning buyers,' the OCTA Properties' chief executive said, adding that 'we see the branded residences sector continuing to grow both regionally and globally, driven by increasing demand for unique and luxurious living experiences.'
