Former North Carolina Tar Heels' sharpshooter Cam Johnson continues to have a solid season with the Brooklyn Nets. And now, Johnson will have the chance to impress on a big stage next weekend.
Johnson is one of eight players who will participate in the 2025 NBA Three-Point Shootout during All-Star Weekend, per the league. He was named to the event on Saturday along with Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham, Darius Garland, Tyler Herro, Buddy Hield, Damian Lillard, and Norman Powell.
This will be Johnson's first time participating in the event and it's a loaded field this year, so the competition will be tough. Johnson is having a big season for the Nets, averaging 19.3 points per game which is up from his 12 points per game in his career.
As for three-point shooting, Johnson is shooting 41.7 percent from the three-point line.
The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15th in San Francisco as part of the festivities which includes the Slam Dunk Contest as well.
