Melanie Griffith, 67, looks very slender in her size 2 jeans as she heads to dinner with a TV honcho

Melanie Griffith looked very slender when she stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles on Sunday. The 67-year-old Oscar nominee, who is a size two, was modeling a pair of tight skinny jeans in a faded blue denim that hugged her slender curves. And the ex-wife of Don Johnson added a V-neck white T-shirt she tucked into her jeans with an unbuttoned caramel beige jacket with ruffled sleeves. The daughter of iconic The Birds actress Tippi Hedren added white lace fingerless gloves that felt like Madonna 's Like A Virgin era in the 1980s. The mother to movie star Dakota Johnson was not alone. The blonde Working Girl actress was joined by a TV honcho named Chip Sullivan. Chip is the Executive Vice President, Communications, at NBC Entertainment where he is responsible for strategy, development and execution of public and media relations for the network and Universal Television, according to his Linkedin page. Melanie looked incredible in a brown sheer turtle neck top which she tucked into a pair of blue jeans. Wrapping up in a beige trench coat, the actress added height to her frame with a pair of brown boots and completed her look with a matching handbag. Melanie shares Dakota with fellow actor Don Johnson who she was briefly married to for less than a year in 1976. Dakota was also joined by her brother Jesse Johnson, who is the son of Dakota's father Don Johnson and actress Patti D'Arbanville. And Melanie's daughter Stella Banderas with ex Antonio Banderas was also there. In Materialists, Dakota stars as Lucy, a New York City matchmaker whose business gets complicated as she finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex. She stars in the film opposite Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal. Dakota also recently signed on to star opposite Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett in Verity, the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel by the same name. The 50 Shades of Grey star is currently in a relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The pair were seen holding hands on a trip to India in January which came after a source shut down rumors they had split. In March 2024, an insider told People that the pair had been engaged for 'years' but 'were in no rush to get married.' 'Sure, they've had issues and taken breaks in the past, but things are great now,' they added. 'They both love their career. They are balancing things the best they can.' More recently, in August 2024, their rep debunked split rumors to E! and insisted they 'are happily together.' Last year, Martin made a rare remark about his fiancée as he called her one of his 'best friends' in an interview with Rolling Stone. 'It is important to say that [romantic love] is such a big factor in everything, even though it feels right to keep it precious and private; I'm not denying its power,' he told the magazine. While they have famously kept their romance out of the spotlight, back in 2022, she recalled to Vanity Fair how they met through a friend and 'never really left each other.' Additionally, she has spoken about loving his two children Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, who he shares with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, with 'all' her heart.

Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood's "Iconic" Duet Is an Instant Classic

The 'once-in-a-lifetime celebration of country music's biggest stage'—the Grand Ole Opry—went off without a hitch on Wednesday, March 19. Dozens of country artists performed during the spectacular live event, including Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood, who joined forces for a powerful rendition of 'The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by NBC Entertainment (@nbc) The Southern Gothic murder ballad was originally written by songwriter Bobby Russell in 1972, and then covered by Reba in 1991. Reba's music video for the song was later nominated for a CMA Music Video of the Year award in 1992. Suffice to say, her performance of the song with Trisha was a nostalgic nod to two of the '90s' most notable women in country music, and fans couldn't help but swoon over their duet. 'This performance!! ICONIC,' one fan exclaimed. 'Ooohh MOTHER!! Two queens,' someone else commented on NBC's Instagram clip of the performance. 'They need to record this amazing song together they absolutely killed it,' another fan remarked. 'Two legends,' someone else wrote. That wasn't Reba's only performance of the night, though. The 69-year-old country singer opened Opry 100: A Live Celebration with an a cappella rendition of Patsy Cline's "Sweet Dreams," followed by a performance of Loretta Lynn's "You Ain't Woman Enough." As thrilled as viewers and fans were to see Reba take the stage with her incredible vocals and bouncy power ponytail, The Voice alum coach was equally enamored. "It's an honor to be here celebrating 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry," she said during the event. "So many trailblazers paved the way for me to have the privilege of standing on this stage tonight."
