Dallas Goedert excited about being an Eagle in 2025, "not too worried" about the future
Tight end Dallas Goedert's return to the Eagles for the 2025 season remained up in the air until he agreed to a revised deal with the team earlier this month. Goedert agreed to a pay cut that guaranteed his $10 million salary and offers more money in incentives. On Wednesday, Goedert said 'there were definitely days that were filled with emotion' before the revised deal came together and that he's now trying to enjoy the moment rather than fret about what will happen when his deal is up at the end of the season. 'I'm really excited about this year,' Goedert said, via 'Obviously, I'd love to play my entire career in Philadelphia, but I'm not too worried about [the future]. I'm excited to see what happens this year. Excited to put up a really good year, have a successful year with an incredible team and let my agent handle his job and talks after the season. . . . I'm super stoked to be back here. Got a lot of love for a lot of people in this building. Got a lot of love for Philadelphia. So super glad to be back. And we've got high expectations and I want to help us get back to where we were last year.' Goedert missed time in the regular season last year due to injury, but returned to lead the team in receptions and receiving yards during their postseason run to a Super Bowl title. Goedert also performed well in the playoffs on the way to the NFC title in 2022 and another strong finish should help his chances of remaining in Philly for the long run.

A.J. Brown on heading to second Super Bowl: You know how to handle it now
A.J. Brown has been through this before — and that matters. While not all of the Eagles were around for the run to Super Bowl LVII to cap the 2022 season, Brown was. And now that this is his second time reaching the final game of the season, he knows what to expect. 'Last time, I honestly felt like a paid actor during the whole week, just everything, so many interviews,' Brown said after Sunday's victory in the NFC Championship Game, via Dave Zangaro of 'The only part that felt like real football was the game. And so when you remove all those things and you're just trying to focus on the game and that's the only thing that matters. And just trying to win. Everything else is for everybody else.' That's part of why even though Brown was happy and excited to be heading to New Orleans, he wasn't getting too far up about it. 'This is very different,' Brown said. 'My emotions are intact. Of course, I'm excited for guys who haven't been before. But I just want to win. I just want to win. Maybe I'll let my emotions go if we get to do that. 'We've been there before,' Brown added. 'I'm not saying that I'm used to it but you've been there before, you know what it's like and you know what's at stake. You know how to handle it now. That's the only thing I'm focused on. Doing things differently. Trying to do everything in my power to try to get us a win.' After catching just three passes for 24 yards in Philadelphia's first two postseason games, he had six receptions for 96 yards with a touchdown in the 55-23 victory over Washington on Sunday.
