‘Bows volleyball hits the road for NCAA Tournament
The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team received a spirited send-off Sunday night outside SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, as fans, the UH band, and fellow student-athletes gathered to show their support before the team departed for the NCAA Championship Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.

This marks UH's 10th all-time appearance in the NCAA Championship and its seventh under head coach Charlie Wade, who is in his 16th season at the helm. The 'Bows have compiled an 11-7 overall record in NCAA tournament play, including national titles in 2021 and 2022.
Hawai'i and Penn State are familiar foes this season, with the Rainbow Warriors sweeping the Nittany Lions in three sets during the OUTRIGGER Invitational in March at SimpliFi Arena.
Penn State earned its spot in the quarterfinals after defeating Daemen in straight sets in a first-round match on Friday in Amherst, N.Y.
