Starocci makes history winning fifth NCAA D-I wrestling national championship
Cathedral Prep grad and Penn State wrestling star Carter Starocci made history Saturday night in Philadelphia.
The former Rambler secured his fifth national championship, becoming the first NCAA D-I college wrestler ever to achieve that feat.
Starocci, with a 4-3 win in Saturday's finals at 184 pounds against Northern Iowa's Parker Keckeisen, became a national champion for an unprecedented fifth time.
