Duke basketball vs Houston live score: Prediction, how to watch March Madness Final Four

Cooper Flagg and the Duke Blue Devils could etch themselves into college basketball history with two more wins. The Blue Devils pummeled the Alabama Crimson Tide 85-65 in the Elite Eight, their third 20-point victory in four NCAA Tournament games. With projected No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg and two other presumed lottery selections in Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach, Duke has won 31 of its last 32 games for a 35-3 record. The Blue Devils have a +39.63 KenPom net rating, the highest of any team over the last 25 seasons, and they could end the program's decade-long quest for a sixth national championship banner. Each of the other No. 1 seeds reached San Antonio for the Final Four, however, so it'll take Duke's best two performances of the season to dance in confetti. The Houston Cougars are first up after they won the Midwest region, and Kelvin Sampson's squad has won 30 of its last 31 games and each of its last 17. Keep up with Duke's national championship quest with our live in-game updates below. What channel is Duke vs Houston on today? Duke has won 31 of its last 32 games, including each of its last 15, and head coach Jon Scheyer and his squad have won three of their four NCAA Tournament games by at least 20 points. Duke has the highest KenPom net rating since 1999, and if it ends with a national title, one could argue this is the best college basketball team of the last 25 years. Houston: The second-hottest team in the country, the Cougars have won 17 consecutive games for a 30-1 record since the end of November. Houston has lost once in regulation this season, and it has KenPom's top-ranked defense while making 39.7% of its 3-point looks. Duke vs Houston odds, betting line, spread Odds according to BetMGM as of Saturday afternoon. Spread: Duke -5.5 Duke -5.5 Over/under: 136.5 136.5 Moneyline: Duke -275 / Houston +225 Duke vs Houston prediction, game picks Duke 79, Houston 76: There's genuine cause for concern with the way the Cougars have played lately. Houston's combination of defense and 3-point shooting is the basketball blueprint, and the Cougars have lost once in regulation this year. Duke's defense is better than Houston's offense, however, and Flagg will show his growth with some clutch buckets down the stretch. Florida vs. Auburn: How to watch SEC showdown in Final Four

It was a wholly dominant SEC campaign, and fittingly, the top conference's two top teams link for a banger of a Final Four matchup. Auburn has reached its second national semifinal ever, off the strength of unanimous All-American big Johni Broome and the cadre of good shooters in his orbit. Florida is here after a headstrong comeback to topple Texas Tech in the Elite Eight, and boasts fearless shooters in Walter Clayton Jr., Will Richard and Alijah Martin. The Gators tip off as narrow favorites at the Alamodome. Florida was expected to make it this far as a first-seeded powerhouse, but it survived multiple palpitations along the way. Two-time defending champion UConn pushed it to the brink in second-round action, while Texas Tech had a nine-point lead late in last week's game. Clayton Jr. was heroic with two pressurized 3s in clutch time, and he finished with an efficient and ever-timely 30-piece. It was one of the most compelling moments of the tournament so far: The Gators won the SEC tournament, but Auburn won the regular-season title at a dominant 15-3. To get here, these Tigers outlasted Michigan and then Michigan State, winning their Elite Eight draw with rigid perimeter defense and a 25-point, 14-board Broome showing. With Broome as the anchor, Auburn swept up its side of the bracket, taking all four games by multiple possessions and three by double-digits. Advertisement Dominican senior Chad Baker-Mazara is a combined 4-for-19 in the last two rounds, but he's still an all-conference talent. Fellow senior Miles Kelly is slumping as well, going just 3-for-18 on 3s since the second round, but he can heat up swiftly. Guards Tahaad Pettiford and Denver Jones came up big against the Wolverines, and the Tigers survived a bricky night versus the Spartans by handling the turnover margin (just six giveaways all game) and simplifying action to funnel into their captain: These sides have seen each other before, with Florida upsetting top-ranked Auburn at The Jungle back in February by a 90-81 final. The Gators took 33 treys to 31 2s, and Clayton Jr. went 4-for-8 behind the arc while dropping nine dimes. Broome had six offensive rebounds in that game but ended up with only two foul shots. The winner of Saturday's showdown gets either Duke or Houston in the title game. This matchup can also be streamed on the NCAA March Madness Live app and Paramount+. How to watch Auburn vs. Michigan State: Johni Broome and Tigers face Tom Izzo's Spartans in Elite Eight

Auburn and Michigan State collide in Sunday's Elite Eight matchup in a clash of veteran coaches, toughness and tempo as Bruce Pearl's blazing Tigers meet Tom Izzo's tournament-tested Spartans in a battle for hardwood supremacy. I won't talk about Auburn's slow starts anymore. It's just how the Tigers operate, and they always play their best basketball when it matters to win games. Michigan State wants to play free, and Ole Miss did a good job of applying ball pressure, preventing the Spartans from playing their up-and-down style of play. Auburn doesn't apply the same pressure, so the Spartans should be able to attack the rim at will in transition, creating quick points for Izzo's squad. Advertisement Michigan State has comparable size to Auburn and is also one of the better offensive rebounding teams in the country. The Spartans' lack of 3-point shooting could be an issue. They are the worst team left in the field from behind the arc (30.8 percent). If they can't keep Auburn's defense honest, they may have long scoring droughts, which plays right into the Tigers' hands. Auburn thrives on defensive stops and can turn those points quickly, and that's where they bury teams. AP first-team All-American Johni Broome has been good this tournament, but he still hasn't shown a POY-type performance. Michigan State is physical, but doesn't have a big man to match Broome's ability. Do they send doubles his way or guard him straight up? Look for him to put up monster numbers as he tries to send his team to the Final Four. This matchup can also be streamed on the NCAA March Madness Live app and Paramount+. Houston vs. Tennessee: How to watch Cougars and Volunteers clash for Final Four berth

Sunday afternoon's men's March Madness action is a heavyweight tilt between Houston's suffocating defense and Tennessee's balanced attack. These are two of the more physical defenses in the country, both ranking in the top three in adjusted defensive efficiency. I don't expect this to be a fun game to watch, as it may be low-scoring, with a ton of free throws and foul calls. Oddsmakers set the total in the 120s. I think the first to score around 67 wins the game. Advertisement The little things in this game will determine the outcome — hustle plays, momentum shifts and shot selection. Houston is nearly unbeatable when they shoot around 42 percent from the field, posting a 31-1 record. Tennessee, at times, can be offensively challenged, so its ability to get stops is even more important. Sometimes getting down by 5-7 points seems like a double-digit deficit. Of the Vols' seven losses this season, three have come when they shoot 35 percent from the floor, and the other four have come when they shoot less than 25 percent from 3. Houston is the best 3-point shooting team in the country, but almost no one guards the 3 like the Volunteers (third nationally). The Cougars will need their three-headed monster of guards in LJ Cryer, Milos Uzan and Emanuel Sharp to all play well and make shots. Tennessee has size in the paint, so to create paint touches, they must make shots. Matchups to watch are Uzan versus Zakai Zeigler and Cryer versus Chaz Lanier. This matchup can also be streamed on the NCAA March Madness Live app and Paramount+. Streaming and betting/odds links in this article are provided by partners of The Athletic. Restrictions may apply.
