Two arrested after drugs and weapons were seized from Lenoir home: Sheriff
CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people were arrested and face drug-related charges after deputies seized drugs and weapons from a Lenoir home, deputies say.
Narcotics agents with the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, Lenoir Police Department, Watauga County Sheriff's Office and the NCSBI executed a search warrant on a home on Bee Mountain Road on Feb. 26.
Agents located 31-year-old Bandy Nicole Isaacs and 44-year-old James Clifton Vaughan in the home, along with approximately 17 grams of methamphetamine, 62 oxycodone pills, 3 firearms and over $1,800 in cash.
The drugs seized have a total street value of $3,500, according to the NC State Drug Guidelines.
Issacs had an outstanding warrant for a probation violation and faces multiple charges, including:
Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine
Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Vaughan was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.
Isaacs and Vaughan were placed in the Caldwell Detention Center. Isaacs was given a $91,950 secured bond, and Vaughan was given a $55,000 secured bond.
