Here's how to get tickets to the NFL draft
What's more exciting than watching your favorite NFL team pick its next great player? How about doing it for free. That's the case for the NFL Draft 2025, where attendance will be free all weekend in Green Bay. The only catch is registration is required to get into the area called the NFL Draft Experience, which houses the main entertainment. Advertisement Registering is fairly straightforward. To do so, download the NFL OnePass app on your mobile device to register or at Once registered, you'll have access to the NFL Draft Experience. That will feature games, daily football clinics, food from what the NFL calls some of Wisconsin's best restaurants in a "taste of the town" tailgate, as well as photo ops of a replica gameday NFL locker room, a Pro Football Hall of Fame exhibit with Hall of Fame busts with a Packers focus, an oversized replica of all 32 NFL team helmets, Super Bowl rings, the Vince Lombardi Trophy and more. The draft will take place at and near Lambeau Field, the Titletown District and the nearby Resch Expo. Teams will make the announcement of their picks at The Draft Theater, which is between Lambeau field and Resch Expo. It's important to know that while entry to the draft is free, that's only for standing room and general admission access. Seats at the draft are for those invited or those who bought tickets in advance — but those tickets are now sold out. The NFL Draft is coming to the National Mall in 2027
Football took over the Oval Office on Monday, when President Trump announced the National Mall would host the 2027 NFL Draft and expressed support for a new Commanders stadium. Why it matters: The NFL is betting a record one million people will attend the three-day event in D.C. The big picture: Trump made the announcement alongside NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Commanders owner Josh Harris and Mayor Muriel Bowser. "I think this is the greatest site in the world," Trump said of the National Mall. D.C.'s plans include a concert and a free fan festival called the NFL Draft Experience, per the announcement. By the numbers: Attendance estimates would blow out the current record: More than 700,000 fans attended the 2024 Draft in Detroit. This year, over 600,000 showed out in Green Bay, Wis., Goodell said. Zoom in: Trump also praised the $3.7 billion plan to build a 65,000-seat Commanders arena at the RFK Stadium site: "It's going to be beautiful." With sight lines of the U.S. Capitol, "it's going to be an architect's dream," Trump said. Harris gifted the president a Commanders jersey with "Trump" and the number 47 on it. "D.C. used to stop on Sundays, and everyone would be inside watching football or everyone would be at the stadium. We want to bring that back," Harris said. Between the lines: Trump is embracing the NFL after past criticism of the league, stemming from his first term when he balked at players protesting the national anthem. What we're watching: The stadium deal is now pending at the D.C. Council. It includes a vision to build 6,000 homes, new retail and commercial development and an entertainment district on 170 acres of federal land at RFK.

Going to 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay? What to know about security, prohibited items
All fans entering the 2025 NFL Draft campus will go through airport-level screening and must follow the league's clear bag policy. Here's everything you need to know to get through security at the NFL draft. What is the NFL's clear bag policy? If you are bringing a bag into the NFL Draft Experience or Draft Theater, it must follow these guidelines: Advertisement Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, or 30½ centimeters by 15¼ centimeters by 30½ centimeters, are allowed. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags that fit within the permissible dimensions. A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag is also allowed. Non-clear bags that do not exceed 4½ inches by 6½ inches are allowed with one clear plastic bag. The small, non-clear bags can have a handle or strap. No buckles, grommets/hardware or décor can be concealing any part of the bag. If there is a logo, it can only be on one side of the bag. All other bags will be prohibited from the draft. Lambeau Field's paved parking lots are closed. Street closings will require different driving routes. Business hours will also change during the NFL draft April 24-26, 2025 What items are prohibited at the 2025 NFL Draft? Many items including footballs, banners and umbrellas will not be allowed into the NFL draft campus. Prohibited items include: Firearms, weapons, knives, and explosives Alcohol Beach balls or inflatable devices (balloons) Footballs Chairs, stools, or other seating devices Drones Fireworks, pyrotechnics of any kind Frisbees Illegal substances Laser pointers Motorized scooters and skateboards Noisemakers, whistles, and horns Poles, sticks, missile-like objects of any kind Tripods Umbrellas Bottles, cans, thermoses, coolers, aerosol cans, cups, and beverage containers of any kind, unless purchased at an NFL venue or an empty, reusable water bottle Offensive, obscene, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory clothing, banners, flags or signs Any non-event related banners, flags or signs Any banners, flags or signs larger than 22 inches by 28 inches, however, no banner, flag or sign may block the view of other patrons Any other item deemed inappropriate or unsafe by the NFL or Green Bay Police Department NFL map: Coming to the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay? Here's a detailed map of the draft campus Exceptions and accommodations may be made if medically necessary. Prohibited items cannot be stored or checked by the NFL or Green Bay Police Department. Strollers and baby carriages are allowed into the draft but all bags and blankets must be removed and screened by X-ray and will be physically and visually inspected. Small cameras and binoculars are also allowed, however professional grade camera and recording equipment will only be permitted for credentialed media. Can you bring in a water bottle in the draft campus? Fans can bring an empty, reusable water bottle with them for free water filling inside the campus. Is smoking allowed at the 2025 NFL Draft? No. The NFL draft, including the NFL Draft Experience and the NFL Draft Theater, are smoke-free environments and the use of tobacco products and e-cigarettes are prohibited. As in previous years, this year's draft will feature a fan festival with free entry – the "NFL Draft Experience" – in the area adjacent to the draft stage. Green Bay, Wisconsin is hosting this year's NFL draft. According to the NFL, the full "NFL Draft Experience" will take place in the parking lots outside of Lambeau Field, including the Titletown District. The main stage, where all of the picks will be announced, has been built on the east side of Lambeau Field, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. It is directly adjacent to the draft fan experience. Where is Lambeau Field? Lambeau Field, the home of the Packers, is in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Its full address is 1265 Lombardi Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin. Has Green Bay ever hosted the NFL draft? This year will be the first time Green Bay has ever hosted the NFL draft. The last time the NFL draft took place in Wisconsin was in December 1939, when Milwaukee hosted the 1940 NFL Draft. When is the NFL draft? The 2025 NFL Draft takes place across three days this week.
