Seahawks select speediest wide receiver in latest 2025 NFL mock draft

Seahawks select speediest wide receiver in latest 2025 NFL mock draft 🚨NEW NFL MOCK DRAFT🚨@TheTalentCode just dropped his latest mock draft: 🏈 Which 3 QBs get drafted? 🏈 Who lands Ashton Jeanty outside Top 10? 🏈 There's a new TE1 🏈 Cowboys add a top WR 🏈 1 of Travis Hunter/Mason Graham fall out of Top 5#NFLDrafthttps:// — The Draft Network (@TheDraftNetwork) April 7, 2025 The Seattle Seahawks parted ways with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett at wide receiver earlier this offseason. General manager John Schneider signed veteran wideout Cooper Kupp to pair with Jaxon Smith-Njigba in response. The Seahawks are now entering the 2025 NFL draft searching for additional help at receiver. The Draft Network recently released their latest first-round mock draft. While most projections have the Seahawks drafting an offensive lineman, TDN took a different approach. Keith Sanchez has the Seahawks selecting University of Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden at No. 18 overall. "Like their divisional rival, the 49ers, the Seahawks have had an active offseason, offloading players who have been key pieces to their offensive identity," Sanchez wrote. "However, the Seahawks need to replace those playmakers if they want a shot at seeing Sam Darnold resemble the version of himself he was in Minnesota. The addition of Matthew Golden is much needed, and Golden has the opportunity to immediately become a key player for the Seahawks and be the WR1 in Seattle." Golden ran the fastest 40-yard dash of any wideout at this year's NFL Combine with a blazing-fast 4.29-second result, establishing himself as a top 20 pick in April's festivities. Golden would add a layer of playmaking speed to Klint Kubiak's offense.

Seahawks fix offensive line in latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft

The Seattle Seahawks are entering the 2025 NFL Draft needing to upgrade their offensive line. Head coach Mike Macdonald and general manager John Schneider desperately need to find quality starters, particularly across the interior. Schneider is slated to own the No. 18 overall selection. The Draft Network recently released a brand-new 2025 mock draft. With the 18th pick, the Seahawks select Donovan Jackson from Ohio State University. 🚨NEW NFL MOCK DRAFT🚨@_RyanFowler_'s new post-#SuperBowlLIX mock draft features: 💎 Can Travis Hunter still go 1.1? 💎 Where do top QBs land? 💎 Cowboys add offensive weapon 💎 No OL til pick 10 💎 Chiefs/Commanders take Senior Bowl risers#NFLDrafthttps:// — The Draft Network (@TheDraftNetwork) February 10, 2025 'One of my personal favorites in the class, Donovan Jackson's ability to slide from guard to tackle following the injury to Josh Simmons was simply outstanding,' Ryan Fowler wrote. 'He has arguably the highest performance floor of anyone in the class and is a player who helps teams win Super Bowls. He's the type of player you draft and start for the next 7-10 years without batting an eye.' Jackson is a multi-year starter at guard. The Seahawks arguably require starters at both guard positions. Left-sided starter Laken Tomlinson is a pending free agent after stringing together a disappointing campaign, and the right side was split by Sataoa Laumea, Anthony Bradford, and Christian Haynes. What's particularly interesting about Jackson is that he played offensive tackle to conclude the National Championship winning season. He was outstanding at tackle, offering his pro team positional versatility. The Seahawks could have a hole at right tackle if Abe Lucas continues to struggle with health and consistency.

Seahawks draft versatile OL in latest 2025 NFL mock draft

The Seattle Seahawks are entering the offseason with massive needs across their offensive line. General manager John Schneider must identify and acquire multiple instant starters in free agency and the 2025 NFL draft, particularly at the interior positions. The Draft Network recently dropped a recent mock draft that achieves just that. The Draft Network has the Seahawks drafting Will Campbell with the No. 18 overall selection in their latest first-round mock draft exercise. 🏈NFL MOCK DRAFT🏈 Check out @JustinM_NFL's post @SeniorBowl mock draft: 🔴 Where do Mike Green and Walter Nolen land? 🔴 Which QB goes No. 1? 🔴 Tyler Warren cracks top 8 🔴 Who's OT1? 🔴 Seahawks get a STEAL 🔴 Who takes Ashton Jeanty?#NFLDrafthttps:// — The Draft Network (@TheDraftNetwork) February 4, 2025 'Will Campbell looked more like a guard on tape to me and didn't quite meet his lofty expectations this past season,' TDN wrote. 'The Seahawks desperately need starters at guard though, and Campbell could be plug-and-play for a struggling front.' Last year's starting left guard Laken Tomlinson is slated for free agency. Tomlinson underperformed and likely won't be welcomed back by Schneider. At right guard, three young blockers struggled to varying degrees, with Anthony Bradford, Christian Haynes, and Sataoa Luamea all failing to make the position their own. At center, the Seahawks dealt with Connor Williams' abrupt midseason retirement. Campbell played left tackle for LSU, but many NFL evaluators believe he'll kick inside to guard. The Seahawks obviously have a franchise left tackle in Charles Cross. If Schneider and Co. view Campbell as an inside blocker, he should be shortlisted as a potential option at 18th overall.
