5 Browns players who could star in the Olympics flag football team
5 Browns players who could star in the Olympics flag football team The NFL officially announced that players could participate in the Olympics as part of the 5-on-5 flag football team. The league has been preparing its game for a global audience, and the Olympics is the perfect stage for the game. Of course, flag football doesn't capture the brutal physicality of the game, but it could capture most of the grace. The games will be played on 50-yard fields, and they will feature a women's event as well. Each team will have ten players on their roster. Fans of the Browns will likely see players participate in the Olympics. The team has a deep global representation, especially in Africa. Last year, the Browns were granted international marketing rights in Nigeria as part of the NFL's Global Marketing Program. The Browns will also play an away game in London, England, in 2025. The 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles will be an important event for the sport. The NFL wants to put its best foot forward. Here are five Browns players who could play in the Olympics. 1. David Njoku David Njoku was meant to be in the Olympics. The stylish playmaker could suit up for the United States or Nigeria. Njoku will be celebrating his 32nd birthday during the 2028 Olympics. Njoku would be a real threat in the passing game. His combination of size and speed should make him a super weapon against the amateur athletes he'll see in the Olympics. 2. Denzel Ward Denzel Ward is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. He'll be 31 years old during the 2028 Olympics. In my opinion, he's the most dynamic cornerback in the NFL. His movement skills, agility, and speed are unrivaled at the position. His footwork in press coverage disrupts opposing receivers. Ward is usually attached to the hip of the receiver he's covering. The finesse style of flag football would help accentuate what Ward does best. 3. Jerry Jeudy Jerry Jeudy is one of the most electric route runners in the sport. Jeudy is a kinetic mover who makes violent cuts across the field. Last season, Jeudy proved he can be one of the most dangerous receiving threats in the league. His deep speed makes him a threat to score anytime. Jeudy's play style would stand out in flag football. He'll be 29 years old during the 2028 Olympics. 4. Ogbo Okoronkwo Ogbo Okoronkwo is a solid bet for the Olympics. While the event is 5-on-5, teams still need a pass rusher and a center. The center is an eligible receiver after the snap. Okoronkwo was born in Gainesville, Florida, but has developed many global connections. He's quietly one of the best ambassadors in football. Okoronkwo has worked with NFL International over the past few years and hopes to work in their London headquarters after he retires. Okoronkwo will be in the twilight years of his career during the 2028 Olympics. 5. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah would be the perfect rusher in flag football. There are few linebackers in NFL history with his urgency, agility, and quickness. His diverse skill set makes him a great coverage player and a dangerous blitzer. It's hard for me to believe that Owusu-Koramoah's playing career could be over. He was one of the most impressive Browns' defenders on a team full of freaks. Hopefully, Owusu-Koramoah can recover from his mysterious spine injury. He's still dedicated to the sport. He founded a global nonprofit organization, Natural Knowledge Wisdom Advancement (NKWA), which uses American football to promote the values of unity, abundance, and vitality. The organization primarily works in West Africa, but has expanded into the Middle East, the West Indies, and the United States. Owusu-Koramoah is one of the best global ambassadors in the sport. I'm sure he'll find a way to the Olympics as a player or a coach.

NFL schedule release: How to watch every football game of the 2025 NFL season
Football is back (sort of)! While the 2025 NFL preseason won't kick off until August, the complete 18-week regular 2025 NFL season schedule has been released, ushering in the unofficial start of the 2025-26 NFL season. Are you ready to watch some football? This season, NFL games will air across 10+ channels and streaming platforms. If you're worried about the challenge of following your favorite team through the upcoming season, from the NFL season opener to the 2026 Super Bowl, Yahoo Sports has you covered. Here's your playbook for how to watch the 2025-26 NFL season. 2025 NFL schedule release live updates: Thanksgiving, Christmas, international games and more ahead of full announcement Dates: Sept. 4, 2025 - Feb. 8, 2026 TV channels: ESPN, NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC and NFL Network Streaming: Prime Video, Peacock, ESPN+, Paramount+, NFL+, Netflix Week 1 of the NFL season will open with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025. The 2025 NFL season's opening game will air nationally on NBC at 8:20 p.m. ET — it'll also stream live on Peacock and NFL+. Spanish coverage of the game will air on Telemundo and Universo. The following day, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil for an NFL International game that will stream exclusively on YouTube (for free!). Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce leaked the Chief's opening game information on the latest episode of his podcast. All times Eastern. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025 Eagles vs. Cowboys: 8:20 p.m. (NBC, Peacock) Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 Chiefs vs. Chargers in São Paulo: 8:15 p.m. ET (free on YouTube) Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025 Las Vegas Raiders vs. New England Patriots: 1 p.m. (CBS) Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Jets: 1 p.m. (CBS) Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts: 1 p.m. (CBS) Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints: 1 p.m. (CBS) New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders: 1 p.m. (FOX) Carolina Panthers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: 1 p.m. (FOX) Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns: 1 p.m. (FOX) Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta Falcons: 1 p.m. (FOX) Tennessee Titans vs. Denver Broncos: 4:05 p.m. (FOX) San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks: 4:05 p.m. (FOX) Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers: 4:25 p.m. (FOX) Houston Texans vs. Los Angeles Rams: 4:25 p.m. (CBS) Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills: 8:20 p.m. (NBC) Monday, Sept. 8, 2024 Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears: 8:15 p.m. (ESPN/ABC) Many NFL preseason games are broadcast on local channels, so if you're looking to catch an in-market game, it may be as simple as turning on your TV (or setting up a digital TV antenna) or finding a live TV streaming service that carries the correct RSN (Regional Sports Network). If you want to watch out-of-market games, a $7 monthly subscription to NFL+ will let you watch every out-of-market-game local and primetime game in the season (and preseason) on your phone — but only a select few regular season games on your TV. You could also spring for the uber-expensive NFL Sunday Ticket package to get every out-of-market Sunday game of the season. When it comes to nationally broadcast games, NFL games typically air across ESPN, NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC and NFL Network. Thursday Night Football games stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, select football games will stream exclusively on Peacock, games on CBS will stream live on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME and select games will stream on ESPN+ this season. That's six channels and four streaming platforms to keep up with this season — and that's not counting your local RSN's for in-market games and an NFL+ or NFL Sunday Ticket subscription for out-of-market games. Plus, Netflix is once again hosting at least two Christmas Day matches, so add that subscription into the mix. Not to overwhelm you, but there's also ESPN's newest streaming service to consider, and Fox One, Fox's first streaming service. Both these platforms have yet to launch, and it's currently unclear what exactly will be offered/changing from the current landscape. So for now, we recommend betting on a live TV streaming service for the upcoming NFL season, which will include both channels. Confused? You're not alone. Here's a breakdown of the platforms we recommend checking out ahead of the 2025 NFL season, so that come game time, tuning into your favorite team's games will be as easy as simply turning on the TV. This year's NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 4, 2025 with a match hosted by 2025 Super Bowl winners the Philadelphia Eagles. Immediately following the 2025 NFL kickoff game, on Friday, Sept. 5, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo. YouTube will be the exclusive (and free) streaming home for the NFL international game in Brazil. To recap, here are all the ways you can watch NFL games in 2025.

NFL reveals Indianapolis Colts' opponent for international matchup in Germany
NFL reveals Indianapolis Colts' opponent for international matchup in Germany The Indianapolis Colts will host the Atlanta Falcons during the NFL's first-ever game in Berlin, Germany this season. The Indianapolis Colts will host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10 during the NFL's first-ever game in Berlin, Germany this season. The game will be played at Berlin's Olympic Stadium. "The Colts are proud to be part of this landmark event in one of the world's most historic cities," Colts Owner & CEO Jim Irsay said via the team site back in January. This matchup will be the Colts' third abroad game since the NFL International series began. In 2016, the Colts were the away team against Jacksonville at Wembley Stadium in London. Then, recently, during the 2023 season, the Colts were the visitor vs. New England at Frankfurt Stadium in Germany. The Falcons are coming off an 8-9 season and seem prepared to move on to second-year quarterback Michael Penix, although Kirk Cousins remains on the roster. While the 2024 season isn't indicative of what 2025 will look like, of note, the Falcons' offense ranked 14th in points per game last year and eighth in yards per play. The defense was 23rd in points per game and 19th in yards per play.
