Josh Allen Wins Big with Bills ‘Most Underrated' Receiver

The Buffalo Bills were able to make it to the AFC Championship this past season. While they were once again taken down by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, they still had a very solid season. And it was due in no small part to some solid play from their offensive weapons. Advertisement In a recent article by PFF's Jonathon Macri, he outlines who he thinks is the most underrated player on every team. For the reigning AFC East champions, he thinks that player is wide receiver Khalil Shakir. "Shakir has been a stable contributor for the Bills' receiving corps over the past two seasons, and he stepped up significantly in 2024 in Stefon Diggs' absence, leading the team in targets, receiving yards, PFF receiving grade, and yards per route run," Macri writes. "Shakir placed in the top 25 for the position in all of those categories." Losing a player like Diggs should take a toll on a team, but Josh Allen clearly did not miss a beat, as he won the NFL Most Valuable Player Award this past season. A key factor in him being able to do this was the solid play of Shakir. He finished the year with 821 yards and four touchdowns, showing that the Bills are more than just Allen getting it done with his legs. Joe Buck Has Massive Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Prediction

The 2025 NFL schedule is being released little by little, which means that now is as good of a time as ever to start predicting who will win the Lombardi Trophy this season. ESPN's Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are one of the most experienced broadcasting teams there is, so their Super Bowl predictions are definitely some that fans want to hear. Advertisement They gave their picks on a recent appearance on Good Morning America, and while Aikman picked the Dallas Cowboys, Buck selected a team that has been searching for their first win in the big game for a long time. 'I'm going to say Buffalo finally wins it,' Buck said Tuesday morning on the ABC program. The Bills have been to four Super Bowls in their history, which were all consecutive from 1990 to 1003. Unfortunately, they have not been able to win any, as they dropped all four of those games in a row, which many fans make fun of the franchise for, as well as Jim Kelly, the quarterback of those teams. But now, the team has an NFL Most Valuable Player Award winner in Josh Allen, as well as the players around him to contend. They have been eliminated from the playoffs by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs four of the last five seasons, but Buck believes this will be the year that trend stops. Advertisement The Bills certainly have the talent to be one of the best teams in the NFL, but only time will tell whether or not they can make it all the way and hoist the Lombardi.
