Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee's wedding date Akhil Akkineni and his fiancée, Zainab Ravdjee, are all set to tie the knot after making their relationship official in November 2024. The wedding is reportedly scheduled for June 6, 2025. While Dragon remains a working title for now, the makers are expected to announce the final title soon. 3. Kamal Haasan's Kannada language row Kamal Haasan recently made headlines after commenting that the Kannada language was born out of Tamil during the Thug Life audio launch event. His remarks sparked debate among netizens, leading the Karnataka Film Chamber to demand a ban on his films unless he issues an apology. Jr NTR Just Dropped His 25-Year Celebration Poster, And It Is A Total Banger

Telugu star NT Rama Rao Jr, commonly referred to as Jr NTR or Tarak, is known for his remarkable performances in several films like Aadi, Simhadri, RRR and Janatha Garage. Renowned for his powerful screen presence and unmatched charisma, the actor's contribution to the entertainment industry needs no introduction. Jr NTR has now completed 25 glorious years in cinema, after debuting as a lead in 2001 with the film Ninnu Choodalani. Since then, there's been no looking back for NTR and he has delivered one memorable performance after another. To mark this key milestone, the makers of his highly anticipated film, tentatively titled NTRNeel, unveiled a new poster. The poster features NTR with a radiant smile against the blue backdrop that reads 'Man of Masses NTR stepping into 25th year in Indian cinema.' Along with the electrifying poster, it wrote, 'Need we say more? N.T.R – Never Tamed Rage #NTRNeel #25YearsOfNTR @tarak9999." The actor is shooting for the magnum opus with director Prashanth Neel, which is scheduled to hit theatres on June 25, 2026. The film, which is originally shot in Telugu, will be dubbed in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. Earlier, the producer Mythri Movie Makers announced the release date of the film in a social media post. Taking to Instagram, it wrote, 'A Massacre by the dynamic duo delivers a notice for a havoc-filled experience, 25 June, 2026. You'll hear the loudest chants! #NTRNeel. A Special glimpse for the Man of Masses @tarak9999's birthday." The upcoming film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts, NTRNeel. In addition to NTRNeel, the actor is gearing up for a Bollywood debut with War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the upcoming film is officially the sixth entry in the expanding YRF Spy Universe. The sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War is scheduled to hit cinemas on August 14. Dragon: Rashmika Mandanna to feature in special dance number with Jr NTR?
Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel are teaming up for the first time with Dragon, a massive action entertainer. While details are still emerging, it seems Rashmika Mandanna might feature in a dance number. According to a Filmfare report, Rashmika has been approached by the makers for a special dance track. Since the film calls for a vibrant song, director Prashanth Neel wanted a top actress to perform it, leading him to approach her. Continuing the report, sources have detailed, 'One of the reasons Neel preferred Rashmika was because she was never part of any special song. He felt the number would give a fresh appeal, and owing to her immense popularity, the song could become an instantaneous chartbuster.' While more details are still coming in, we'll have to wait and see if this turns out to be true. As for the movie, Dragon (NTRNeel) is slated to hit theaters on June 25, 2026. The film is currently being shot in Karnataka, with around 25% of the shooting reportedly completed. While additional casting details are yet to be revealed, it is said that SSE fame Rukmini Vasanth will play the female lead, marking her first collaboration with Jr NTR. On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in the Salman Khan starrer Sikandar. The AR Murugadoss-directed action drama received negative reviews from makers and is currently streaming on Netflix. Moving ahead, Rashmika Mandanna is set to star opposite Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni in Kuberaa, a social thriller directed by Sekhar Kammula, releasing on June 20, 2025. She also has The Girlfriend and Thama in her upcoming lineup. Meanwhile, Jr NTR will soon appear as the main antagonist in Hrithik Roshan's War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
