Man arrested after two dogs discovered in car on A55
As the man was unable to explain why the dogs were in his possession, he was further arrested on suspicion of theft. NWP West Conwy Coastal said in a statement: "Whilst assisting our Road Crime Unit colleagues in an arrest of a male on the A55 on suspicion of Drug driving and theft of a motor vehicle, Colwyn Bay Neighbourhood Policing officers discovered two lovely dogs (pictured) in the car. One of the dogs discovered in the car (Image: NWP West Conwy Coastal) "The male driver was not able to give a proper account for the dogs so he was also arrested on suspicion of theft. The dogs are currently being looked after by the team in our office in headquarters while we wait for them to be collected by our colleagues in the kennels. The other dog that was found in the car (Image: NWP West Conwy Coastal) "The team will be working to try and identify who the owners of the dogs actually are and we would ask for your help in sharing this post in the hope that it may reach someone who knows more about them. "If you do recognise the dogs and have information to help please make contact with the Colwyn Bay Neighbourhood Policing Team via our website or 101." Readers are asked not to message the team by Facebook. The statement added: "We are not able to monitor these incoming messages."
