Adorned with intricate floral motifs in soft tones of green, yellow, and pink, the details lent a fresh and whimsical charm to her look. For the accessories, Khushi went with a pair of statement emerald earrings, a bold statement ring, and two dainty bracelets. For the glam, she went with a soft and radiant makeup. She defined her eyes with a soft brown shade on her eyelids. She further defined her eyes with a soft, smudged eyeliner and mascara. She added a swipe of blush on her cheeks for that rosy flush. She tied her hair into a sleek, side-parted bun and finished her look with a muted brown shade on her lips. First Published:

Khushi Kapoor feels 'there's no point listening' to harsh criticism ‘if it is not helping you'

Actor Khushi Kapoor is not new to criticism. Her debut film, The Archies, didn't get rave reviews, and her latest Nadaaniyan was not particularly liked by the audiences as well. However, the actor in a recent interview said that every film has been an opportunity for her to evolve and to give a voice of her own. In an interview with The Time Of India, the Loveyapa actor confessed that she has always been in love with movies and after three films she has become much more comfortable in finding a footing for herself. "The love (for acting) has always been there from the beginning as I've grown up around movie sets. The comfort definitely grows and you become surer of the choices you're making. I feel I have more of a voice now because I've done three films. I can express my ideas and thoughts a bit more. Whereas I think initially when I had just started, I would just kind of be quiet and listen. So now I feel like I can tell that it's a more collaborative process when I work with people because I feel like I can express my thoughts," Khushi said. The 24-year-old actor has been at the receiving end of not very flattering reviews for films so far, but Khushi insists that she has learnt to pick up constructive criticism while leaving out the rest. 'You can tell when you, read something or you speak to someone what they mean by what they say. I think it's important to take constructive criticism. And if something's not really helping you, I don't think there's any point listening to it.' Khushi Kapoor debuted with the role of Betty Cooper in The Archies 2023, directed by Zoya Akhtar. The actor followed it up with two films in 2025: Loveyapa starring Junaid Khan and Nadaaniyaan, which marked the acting debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday were targeted because of their family background; Ibrahim Ali Khan expected similar backlash

Actor Ibrahim Ali Khan didn't have the most auspicious debut a few weeks ago, when he starred in the Karan Johar-backed Netflix film Nadaaniyan. Right out of the gate, the film was criticised for its poor acting and a juvenile narrative. But Ibrahim claimed that he saw the criticism coming, after observing what happened to fellow actors Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and his sister, Sara Ali Khan. In an interview with GQ India, Ibrahim said that fans will always target a 'nepo-kid', no matter 'how good they are'. He added, 'I was hoping to join the movies sooner. I realised that the tide was turning when Sara, Janhvi, and Ananya were starting out. Technically speaking, nepotism has been around forever, but these girls became targets.' 'I realised that anyone from a film background looking to debut as an actor from then on was going to face backlash, no matter how good they may be. I was prepared for it but didn't expect it to be so harsh,' added the actor. Trying to live up to your family's legacy can be a daunting task, and in the case of Ibrahim, he has some very big shoes to fill. Ibrahim's grandmother is the great Sharmila Tagore, who made a name for herself working with Satyajit Ray and has a filmography that could outshine even the biggest stars. Even she didn't shy away from admitting that Nadaaniyan was a poor attempt at filmmaking when she said that she did not like the movie. The other three aforementioned actors have also had an uneven track record, as both Sara and Janhvi received appreciation for the debut films Kedarnath (2018) and Dhadak (2018), respectively, but have been criticised for their later films. On the other hand, Ananya faced a lot of backlash for her debut, Student of the Year 2 (2019), but has been praised for the kind of roles she has chosen for herself since then. Nadaaniyan released on Netflix in March, and apart from Ibrahim, the cast of the film included Khushi Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, Jugal Hansraj and Mahima Chaudhary.
