HRH Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Receives Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain

TDT | Manama His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, received His Excellency Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace today. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince underscored the long-standing and deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the strong foundation of collaboration that spans multiple sectors. HRH Prince Salman highlighted the unwavering commitment of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to enhancing bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both nations. HRH the Crown Prince also commended the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in advancing the comprehensive coordination and collaboration between the two nations. He particularly emphasized the role of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, which continues to drive progress and strengthen the enduring relationship between the Kingdoms. In extending his best wishes to HE Al-Sudairi, HRH Prince Salman expressed confidence in the Ambassador's ability to further enhance Bahrain-Saudi relations, strengthen ties, and advance the mutual interests of both nations and their peoples. HRH the Crown Prince also praised Saudi Arabia's pivotal role, alongside its allies, in promoting regional and global security, stability, and peace. For his part, HE Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed the shared vision between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in fostering prosperity and progress, while further solidifying cooperation and integration between the two nations. The meeting was attended by HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy.

KSrelief continues aid work across Middle East

RIYADH: The Kingdom's aid agency KSrelief has continued to provide support for vulnerable communities across the Middle East, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday. Food was sent to 187 families in Yemen's Al-Dhale governorate, benefiting 1,309 people. In Syria's Al-Rastan city aid was sent to 48 families, benefitting 255 people, including bags of flour, winter kits, and personal care items. The Kingdom also sent 125 tonnes of dates to Jordan, for distribution across various provinces and regions, starting from the Al-Qastal area south of the capital, Amman. The aid was presented by Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi to Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Issawi. And 800 cartons of dates were delivered to families in Sudan's Wad Madani locality of Gezira state, benefiting 5,111 people.
