'As ever is more than just a brand—it's a love language.' These are the words you'll find on the site of 'As Ever' by Meghan Markle.
The latest release from the lifestyle brand reflects this in particular, with the product launch date carrying sentimental significance.
The brand released its first line of products in April of this year, with the release selling out within the hour. Announced via Instagram, the second drop followed suit this month, with the entire range of baking mixes, spreads, teas, and other items also selling out. Now, the label is releasing its first alcoholic beverage: a Napa Valley rosé. While no information has been teased about the concoction, the branded bottle was photographed against sparkling water and apricots, suggesting some light, crisp and sweet notes. Announced on June 25, the wine will be on-site and available for purchase on July 1. This date is significant for the Duchess, marking the birthday of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana (who would have been 64 this year), and the day Prince Harry first reached out to her.
The Prince revealed in his memoir Spare that in 2016, on the date of his mother's birthday, he reached out to Meghan for the first time, after having obtained her information via a mutual friend.
'It occurred to me how uncanny, how surreal, how bizarre, that this marathon conversation should have begun on July 1, 2016. My mother's fifty-fifth birthday,' he mused in his book.
