2025 offseason roster profile: DL Naquan Jones
The Arizona Cardinals are in offseason mode and we are still several weeks away from free agency and two months from the NFL draft. Over the next two weeks, we will take a look at each player on the roster or signed to a reserve deal and break down where they stand with the team. We will look at their 2024 season, their contract status and what their status is for the coming offseason and 2025 season. Next up is defensive lineman Naquan Jones. 2024 Naquan Jones stats, season Jones was waived in the cut to 53 players on Aug. 27 and was immediately signed to the Miami Dolphins practice squad. However, after defensive lineman Justin Jones was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 25 after suffering a torn triceps in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions, Jones was signed off Miami's practice squad. He played 12 games, was inactive for two and logged 260 snaps (34 percent). Those snaps were productive: 27 tackles (11 solo, four for loss) to go with 3.0 sacks for 21 yards, two pressures, four quarterback hits and two passes defensed. 2025 contract status After playing for the minimum $1.055 million in 2024, Jones is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent on March 12. Outlook for 2025 Competition will be strong for jobs on the defensive line, but Jones has shown he can play well in the rotation and might have interest from other teams. If both sides can agree on a deal, Jones will battle for a spot as a depth piece.
