ALAHSA — Saudi composer Nasser Al-Saleh, one of the most renowned figures in the Gulf and Arab music industry, passed away on Friday at the age of played a significant role in shaping Gulf music, contributing to its evolution with his distinctive compositions. His journey into the world of music began in the 1970s, initially as a musician and singer before discovering his true passion for talent quickly gained recognition, making him a key figure in both the Gulf and Arab music the years, he collaborated with some of the most celebrated artists in the Arab world, including Mohammed Abdu, Nawal, and of his most iconic works is "Al-Amaken" (The Places), performed by Mohammed Abdu, which remains a landmark in contemporary Gulf received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Best Arab Composer award in 2007 from Zahrat Al Khaleej 2018, he was honored by the Saudi Society for Culture and Arts in Dammam and at the Alexandria International Song in Al-Ahsa, Al-Saleh was known as the "Captain of Gulf Music," a title that reflected his profound impact on the region's musical heritage.
