Liam Gallagher to be a granddad! Oasis star's daughter Molly Moorish confirms she's pregnant with her first child

Liam Gallagher is set to become a grandfather for the first time, as his daughter Molly Moorish has revealed she's pregnant. The 27-year-old model and activist, whom the former Oasis frontman shares with singer Lisa Moorish, announced the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday. Sharing one snap of herself cradling her tummy while posing alongside her footballer boyfriend, Nat Phillips, she captions the post simply: 'Bulking season'. The first in her series of photos shows the couple standing outside, with Molly proudly showing off her bump in a white T-shirt, black trousers and matching coat, while Nat, 28, who plays for Derby County on loan from Liverpool FC, puts his arm around her. Friends and fans were quick to flood the comments with congratulations. Her mum Lisa wrote: 'Waaaaaaah!' while Sadie Frost commented: 'Congratulations - the best news'. Molly and Nath have been dating since 2022 but have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight. Molly's dad Liam has spoken publicly in the past about his efforts to build a relationship with her after being estranged for much of her childhood. The pair reconciled in 2018, and Molly has since been seen backstage at Liam's gigs and sharing occasional father-daughter snaps online. The singer, who is preparing to tour with his brother Noel this summer, already has four children from different relationships. He has Lennon Gallagher, 25, with actress Patsy Kensit, Gene Gallagher, 23, with All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, and 12-year-old Gemma Gallagher with journalist Liza Ghorbani.

Why Chelsea is charging to watch Liverpool legends game when it's free on YouTube

Chelsea fans can choose to watch Saturday's legends charity match against Liverpool for a cost of £5.99 in the UK, with all proceeds going to straight to the Chelsea Foundation. The game is also available to watch for free on Liverpool's YouTube channel, which might prompt some fans to question why anybody would pay for something that is available for nothing, but the fee that Chelsea is charging to watch on its official app and website should simply be viewed as a charitable donation. Liverpool is taking on Chelsea in the Reds' ninth LFC Foundation legends game at Anfield, with the previous eight having raised $9.8 million for charitable causes. Ahead of the game, former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch spoke of his excitement at pulling on a Liverpool jersey again. 'It's unbelievably special. It's amazing how many ex-players end up supporting the club or want to be a part of the club. It's something really special," he said. 'With Forever Reds, you see the players all feel connected and that's to do with the club obviously looking after the ex-players, but all the players I played with have a connection to Liverpool. 'I certainly do. I know I married a Scouser, which helps, but I definitely have a connection to the club and always will. My boys support Liverpool and I take them to games. They were kind of pushed into it a little bit but they absolutely love it, and I'm very pleased that they do because for me I can now be a part of it. 'It will be massive for me, for my little boy to see me – he missed out, he's only five – so for him to see me pull on the red shirt again and play at Anfield will be a huge moment for our family.'
