Hearts youngster completes switch Hearts have confirmed that teenage midfielder Macaulay Tait has re-joined newly promoted Livingston on a season-long loan deal. The 19-year-old spent the second-half of last season on loan at Almondvale, playing 23 times as David Martindale's side won promotion back to the top flight of Scottish football via the playoffs. According to Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph, the deal is understood to have a break clause which can be activated in January, if required. Mansfield sign Hibernian midfielder Moriah-Welsh
Mansfield Town have signed Hibernian midfielder Nathan Moriah-Welsh on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old Guyana international began his career with Bournemouth and moved to Scotland in January 2024. After speaking with Stags boss Nigel Clough, Moriah-Welsh said the club "stood out to me the most" when thinking over his future. I'm an energetic midfielder who wants to get up and down and likes a tackle." Moriah-Welsh is the sixth new player to join The Stags ahead of the new League One season following midfielder Regan Hendry, goalkeeper Liam Roberts, defenders Kyle Knoyle and Ryan Sweeney and Nottingham Forest loanee midfielder Kyle McAdam.

Hibs have confirmed that midfielder Nathan Moriah-Welsh has left the club to sign for Mansfield Town in England's League One. The news comes shortly after the Edinburgh club announced the arrival of Josh Mulligan on a four year contract to add further competition for places in the middle of the park. With the 23-year old Guyana international's game time set to be severely limited he has now departed the club with head coach David Gray's best wishes. Mansfield Town 'stood out' to former Hibs midfielder ahead of summer transfer move Speaking to the official Mansfield Town website, who confirmed his signing on Friday afternoon, Moriah-Welsh said: 'Mansfield was the club that stood out to me the most. I've had chats with the gaffer [Nigel Clough] and Simon [Clough] and everything seemed to make sense so it's the right move at the right time to go and push on. 'Having chats with Will Evans and Aaron Lewis, good things were said about the club. I've played here previously in the past and it's always been a tough game so all those things added up to a good move in the end.
