Emergency siren button ‘accidentally pressed': Macon Co. EMA
MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — An outdoor warning siren sounded in Macon County Sunday night, but officials said it was a false alarm.
The Macon County Emergency Management Agency said the outdoor warning siren located at the Long Creek firehouse was activated around 11 p.m. on Sunday. After looking into it though, officials said the activation happened after a control button was accidentally pressed.
