But if one isn't enough, Krispy Kreme is also offering a dozen of their Original Glazed® donuts for just $2 with the purchase of an initial dozen. After National Donut Day, Krispy Kreme will also offer a '14 Days of Original Glazed' promotion starting on June 7 until June 20. Krispy Kreme Rewards members can get a dozen Original Glazed® doughnuts for $9.99. Paris Baguette At Paris Baguette, PB Rewards members can choose from a free sugar mochi donut or a free small twisted donut with any purchase. Those who aren't already a PB Rewards member can also join the bakery cafe chain's loyalty program for free by signing up through the Paris Baguette app. Sheetz Stopping by Sheetz on Friday? Gas up and get a free flavored donut with the purchase of any fountain drink, Sheetz Bros Coffee or bottled drink at one of the chain's convenience stores. Sheetz's National Donut Day deal will run from June 6 through June 10. Customers need to add the promotion from the OFFERZ tab on the Sheetz app and the offer is limited to one per customer and while supplies last. Shipley Do-Nuts Shipley Do-Nuts, which has over 350 shops across 13 states, is celebrating National Donut Day not just this Friday but every Friday in June. "After nearly nine decades of making life delicious, we think donuts deserve more than just one day," Laurie Curtis, Shipley Do-Nuts' Senior Vice President of Marketing, said in a statement. "So, we are making summer even sweeter with a National Donut Month full of freebies." On June 6, Shipley Do-Nuts customers can get a free glazed donut with any purchase, while supplies last. The following Friday, on June 13, Shipley is throwing in an extra donut into every order of a dozen donuts, making it a true baker's dozen of 13 donuts. Tim Hortons Tim Hortons is also celebrating National Donut Day throughout the first week of June with a buy a beverage and get a donut freebie. On Friday, the company will give every customer one free donut of their choice in honour of National Donut Day. To snag the freebie, visit a Krispy Kreme location near you and ask for your favourite donut without making any purchase. Additionally, customers can get a dozen Original Glazed donuts for just $2 when they purchase a dozen donuts of their choice as part of their 14 Days of Original Glazed campaign, which begins Saturday. 'National Doughnut Day is one of our favorite days of the year to celebrate Krispy Kreme fans and how much they love and share our doughnuts, especially the Original Glazed,' Krispy Kreme Chief Growth Officer Dave Skena said in a news release. Stewpot extends summer hours for food pantry
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Stewpot's Food Pantry in Jackson will once again offer extended summer hours. From June 5 through July 31, the pantry will open on Thursday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Officials said the initiative aims to better serve households that are unable to visit during regular hours, as well as families facing increased food insecurity while school is out. 'We know that summer can be a challenging time for many families who rely on school meals during the year,' said Rev. Jill Buckley, Stewpot's Executive Director. 'By staying open later one day a week, we hope to make it easier for working families and others with limited availability to access nutritious food.' Salvation Army honors sweet legacy on National Donut Day The pantry currently serves an average of 340 households per month, providing each family with a five-day supply of fresh and shelf-stable groceries. To receive groceries, individuals must reside in Hinds County. They will need to bring an ID and proof of residence upon arrival. However, no one is turned away due to a lack of documentation. Appointments are highly encouraged. To schedule a visit, call (601) 353-2759 or go to and click the 'I Need Help' button. In addition to the extended hours, the Food Pantry will continue its daily operations.
