BIPD launches 'National Paths' programme

The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) will launch the first phase of its 'National Paths' programme tomorrow, targeting public and private sector employees across all professional levels. The initiative forms part of the Institute's efforts to equip national cadres and raise political and constitutional awareness, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to strengthen the foundations of His Majesty's comprehensive development process. Eman Faisal Janahi, Executive Director of BIPD, said that the National Paths programme reflects the Institute's mission to promote sustainable political development and responsible civic engagement. She noted that the programme seeks to provide participants with a foundational understanding of political, legal, and constitutional concepts, while also enhancing their awareness of their national role as professionals and citizens. The programme is structured into three main tracks tailored to general employees, section heads, and leadership positions. Each track includes specific activities aligned with its target group to contribute to the overarching goal of building capable national competencies that can contribute positively to development. Janahi added that BIPD continues to develop its training initiatives based on professional standards and national priorities, in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain's development objectives and human capital advancement. The programme aims to reinforce the royal vision of comprehensive development and its institutional impact. It also seeks to enhance the participants' knowledge of government programmes, policies, and legislation through a diverse offering of lectures, training workshops, and dialogue sessions conducted by academics and experts from Bahrain, alongside participation by experienced public figures. The programme is also designed to strengthen participants' capacity to engage constructively with national realities and challenges, and to contribute to forming a high performing, well informed national workforce. National Paths builds on the success of the Institute's previous political skills programme, expanding its scope to connect professional development with institutional effectiveness and national legislation.
