Saudi Arabia, Denmark Explore Investment Opportunities in Industry, Mining
The Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, explored investment opportunities with several Danish companies in the industry and mining sectors during an official visit to Denmark, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). Through a series of bilateral meetings with CEOs of major companies in industry and mining in Copenhagen, Al-Khorayef discussed joint opportunities, enablers and incentives that Saudi Arabia offers to investors. The meetings focused on strengthening bilateral industrial and mining cooperation, as well as ways to capitalize on opportunities provided by the National Strategy for Industry across 12 priority sectors which the Kingdom seeks to localize and develop. Moreover, the meetings discussed opportunities provided by the Comprehensive Mining Strategy, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to advance growth and economic diversity. During his visit to Denmark, Al-Khorayef met with leaders of companies specialized in pharmaceuticals, food, and mining. These companies included FLSmidth, Danfoss, Novo Holdings, Novonesis, and Arla Foods. The Saudi Industry Minister also met with senior officials at the Danish Chamber of Commerce, with the presence of top officials from Danish energy giants Vestas and European Energy. During the meeting, Al-Khorayef stressed the Kingdom's commitment to fostering bilateral trade with Denmark and bolstering cooperation in the industry and mining sectors. Al-Khorayef's visit to Denmark aligns with Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to deepen economic partnerships with advanced industrial countries, attract international expertise to accelerate the growth of the Kingdom's industry and mining sectors, and establish its status as a leading industrial powerhouse and a global hub for mining. Saudi ministers of foreign and industry meet Peruvian counterparts
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held talks with Peruvian Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmer Schialer and Minister of Energy and Mines Jorge Montero Cornejo in Riyadh on Thursday. During the meeting, Prince Faisal discussed with the Peruvian ministers relations between the two friendly countries. The two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation in various fields in addition to international issues of mutual interest. On his part, Alkhorayef's meeting with the Peruvian ministers focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Peru, particularly in the industrial and mining sectors. Discussions also addressed opportunities in mining exploration and strategic minerals. The meeting highlighted the Kingdom's comprehensive mining strategy and the investment opportunities available at each stage of the mining value chain. It further emphasized the importance of strengthening international cooperation in the mining and minerals sector to support industry advancement and ensure sustainability. The two sides also reviewed the objectives of the National Strategy for Industry, with a focus on promising opportunities in its sub-sectors, notably the food industry. The Kingdom's enablers and incentives to support investors were also discussed. Alkhorayef extended an invitation to the two Peruvian ministers to attend the Future Minerals Forum, scheduled to be held in Riyadh in January 2026. The forum serves as a leading global platform bringing together industry leaders to explore the challenges and future prospects of the mining and metals sector.

It builds on the success of ADNOC's ICV program which has driven Dh242 billion ($65.9 billion) back into the UAE economy and enabled 17,000 Emiratis to be employed in the private sector since 2018. As part of ADNOC's ICV programme, the company aims to drive Dh200 billion ($54.5 billion) into the UAE economy over the next five years.
