Road to Navajo Lake reopens
SAN JUAN COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Just in time for recreation season, New Mexico Highway 539 over Navajo Dam has officially reopened. The road, located about 45 miles east of Farmington, had been closed for the last eight months for exploratory drilling.
Docks rebuilt and upgraded at Navajo Lake Marina after storm damage
Officials said road closures are expected to resume later this year after peak season at the lake ends.
