Sophie Habboo's 'really bad' craving as Jamie Laing forced to intervene
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo opened up about her pregnancy on the first episode of the couple's rebranded podcast NearlyParents, which has now launched this week Former Made In Chelsea star Sophie Habboo has opened up about a "really bad" craving that she's experienced during her pregnancy. It was brought up by her husband Jamie Laing on an episode of their podcast released this week. Sophie, 30, and Jamie, 36, announced that they are expecting a baby together last week. Their joint post on Instagram included footage from an ultrasound scan and Sophie has since showcased her baby bump in several photos. The couple also shared some career news with fans after the pregnancy announcement. Sophie and Jamie revealed that their podcast would be rebranded as they embark on a "new chapter". The podcast was formerly called NearlyWeds and then NewlyWeds, following their wedding in 2023. It will now be called NearlyParents in the lead-up to the birth of their first child. In their debut episode, titled We're Having A Baby, which was released today, Sophie and Jamie spoke about discovering that she was pregnant among other topics related to the news. It included discussing pregnancy cravings. They told listeners that at one point Sophie had a craving for caviar, though she said that she didn't end up eating any after looking into the prospect. Jamie said: "You didn't eat it but you had a craving for it and I put a stop to it." He shared on the podcast: "Sophie said 'Oh, it's really annoying. I've got a really bad craving'. And I said 'Well, what is the craving?' She said 'Caviar.' So, we went to a store." Sophie said that the couple went around London at 8pm that night in an attempt to find a store that sold caviar and was open. Apologising to her husband, she said: "I'm sorry, please don't hate me!" Jamie added: "We found a caviar store and we went in there, and there was caviar there. And I was like, 'Okay, we're surely not buying this. The pot was £240, and I was like, that craving has to stop there and then. And thank God, you came to your senses." Sophie said: "I didn't come to my senses. I Googled it. It says I can't eat it. [...] I was going to give birth and then just be broke and never, ever be able like to eat again." It isn't just the NearlyParents podcast that the couple are working on together at the moment. Sophie is currently co-hosting BBC Radio 1 's Going Home show with Jaime while both Vick Hope and Katie Thistleton are on maternity leave. Sophie and Jamie, who are both former Made In Chelsea stars, wed in 2023 in ceremonies held in London and Spain. The couple had announced their engagement on Instagram in 2021, revealing that Jamie popped the question at the London hotel where they had their first date.

Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have opened up on their pregnancy for the first time, with Jamie stating that he felt like he was 'floating' when he found out Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have opened up for the first time about their pregnancy since they revealed they were expecting their first baby at the beginning of June. After relaunching their podcast from NewlyWeds to NearlyParents, Jame described the 'most insane thing' about finding out he is going to be a dad. Jamie, 36, and Sophie, 30, who first started their love story on Made in Chelsea, shared the joyful news on Instagram to share the news, posting a heartfelt video of Sophie undergoing a pregnancy scan. In the video, a visibly emotional Jamie exclaims, 'Oh my god!' as he gazes at the ultrasound screen, while Sophie beams with happiness. In their first podcast episode back, titled 'WE'RE HAVING A BABY', Jamie and Sophie describe the moment they found out about the pregnancy. Sophie said: 'I thought it was way too early to be able to tell, but I thought I'd just take one in the morning. I woke up, my eyes were open, and I ran downstairs and pee on a stick, and I'm like 'no' then I look again and I'm like *huge gasp*, I burst into tears'. Sophie then details how she ran downstairs to tell Jamie, who was watching TV. Reminiscing on the moment, Jamie said: 'When you came down and you told me, I was like 'what'! When you told me, I was like purely floating. It's like the most insane moment ever. It's wild.' Sophie then went on to detail that her main symptoms included being really 'hot' and irritable, with Jamie joking that her main craving is 'hating him'. The couple, who have also recently started working together on BBC Radio 1, shared their pregnancy news with an emotional video where they see their baby on an ultrasound scan. They captioned the video with a simple red heart. As the baby pops up on the screen in the clip, Jamie excitedly says: "Are you kidding me". Jamie pans the camera around the room onto Sophie, who has the biggest smile on her face as the couple hears the baby's heartbeat. Sophie has replaced Vick Hope on the Going Home show, which runs from Monday to Thursday between 3.30 pm and 6 pm. Vick, who is expecting her first child with husband Calvin Harris, has left the station to go on maternity leave. The Made In Chelsea stars delighted their famous pals when they revealed the happy news this week as Jamie shared a clip of his wife having an ultrasound. Sophie has now given fans a sneak peak at her bump on Instagram in snaps taken at a friend's wedding. As she poses for a selfie with Jamie at the nuptials, sporting a floor length emerald green sleeveless dress, she wrote in the caption: "Last weekend I celebrated one of my friends of 24 years getting married and it was everything and more." In another snap featured in the carousel, Sophie and Jamie take a bathroom selfie in which the reality star's bump can clearly be seen. Responding to the photos, Sophie's followers flocked to the comments section, with many telling her how happy they were for her. One replied: "You are stunning and so is the bump" as another wrote: "The bump is so cute!"
