EXCLUSIVE The shocking new mystery after Virginia Giuffre's death - as disturbing details of a fresh family rift are revealed

Mystery surrounds the final resting place of Virginia Giuffre four weeks after she was found dead in her home. Giuffre took her own life on April 25 at her farmhouse in Neergabby, north of Perth, after the 'toll... became unbearable', according to her family. Her body was transferred to the state mortuary for a post-mortem examination to determine the official cause of death. It's understood her body was released to her estranged husband Robert Giuffre and her ashes are 'pending collection' at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park in Perth. Now distraught loved ones have broken their silence claiming they were shunned from her funeral and unable to pay their final respects. 'It's absolutely devastating,' a close source told Daily Mail Australia. 'We are disgusted, no funeral, no notice to anyone. It's so disrespectful to Virginia that her life wasn't even worth a funeral. 'He is so selfish that he wouldn't let anyone else hold one either. The online registry shoes Virginia Giuffre's body has already been cremated 'Her family in the US wanted to attend as would so many other people who loved her, but nobody was told what is going on. 'Legally Robert is her next-of-kin but it's not as simple as that. Not in any way.' Giuffre was a victim of Jeffery Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who she accused of sex trafficking her to Prince Andrew when she was just 17. Prince Andrew has always denied the allegations but reportedly paid Giuffre millions to settle a lawsuit over her claims against him. Her death came just weeks after she said on social media she only had four days to live following a car crash, which police later described as a minor collision. She had already split with Mr Giuffree, her husband of 22 years, and had admitted her heartbreak at being estranged from her three teenage children. It is not known how her estate will be divided or if she even had a will. While she was separated from her husband, the pair were not officially divorced. Giuffre escaped Epstein's clutches after meeting her husband-to-be while on a massage training course in Thailand that Epstein had paid for. It's now understood her ashes are 'pending collection' at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park in Perth She had a whirlwind romance with the martial arts instructor and they married within a week in 2002 before moving to the NSW Central Coast and setting up home together. They lived there for 11 years before moving to the US, until they returned to Australia and bought a $1.7million six-bedroom beachside mansion in Perth in 2020. The marriage is believed to have broken down last year, with Giuffre moving into their weekend getaway farmhouse, while her husband remained in Perth with their children Giuffre's brothers Sky and Danny Wilson had been staying with her at her $1.3million farmhouse after she claimed to be on her deathbed. They have since launched a public fundraiser in her memory, because they expect it will take years to divide up her estate. They are seeking to raise $15,000 to build a memorial in her memory that will be open for the public to visit. 'It is our intention with this fund that we create a public memorial not just for family but for survivors and supporters from all over to visit and share space with Virginia. 'She deserves to have a permanent mark in this world that demonstrates her lasting impact.' While the coroner had released Giuffre's body it is understood that the outcome of the investigation and official cause of death could take more than a year to finalise.

Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre fareweled in private ceremony in Perth

The high-profile survivor of billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein who alleged she was trafficked for sex to Prince Andrew has been farewelled in Perth. Virginia Giuffre is believed to have taken her own life at her farm in Neergabby, about 80km north of Perth, in April. She was reportedly cremated in recent days at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park in Padbury. The West Australian reported on Sunday a funeral service was held, and was understood to have been held privately and not publicly advertised. The 41-year-old's death made international headlines, with many of Mr Epstein's accusers left without justice following his death in custody in 2019. Ms Giuffre has long accused Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting her when he was only a teenager. She brought a civil sexual assault case against him, which was ultimately settled by Mr Andrew outside of court in 2022. The sum of the settlement is unknown. Prince Andrew has strenuously denied all the allegations against him, which ultimately led to him stepping away from public life. In a separate suit in New York against Epstein's longtime confidante, Ghislaine Maxwell, Ms Giuffre alleged she had been kept as a 'sex slave' for the rich and powerful. She claimed to have been recruited by Ms Maxwell – the only person implicated in Epstein's alleged operations to be convicted – when she was aged between 16 and 17. At the time, Ms Giuffre was working at Donald trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach. Upon her death, Ms Giuffre was facing a charge of allegedly breaching a family violence restraining order taken out by her estranged husband, Robert Giuffre. She had also recently survived a bus crash, after which she posted a photo to social media of her badly-bruised face and the caption: 'four days to live'. Ms Guiffree moved to Perth from Cairns with Mr Giuffree in 2022 and is survived by her three children.

Emotional moment Virginia Giuffre's lawyer breaks down as she recalls her disbelief after the Jeffrey Epstein victim took her own life

The US attorney of sex abuse survivor Virginia Giuffre says the world will never be the same again after her client's death. Giuffre, 41, took her own life on April 25 at her farmhouse in Neergabby, north of Perth after the 'toll of abuse... became unbearable', according to her family. She was one of the most prominent accusers of convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, claiming the pair kept her as a sex slave as a teen. She alleged they trafficked her to the Duke of York when she was 17 and was sexually assaulted by him - a claim which Prince Andrew has always strenuously denied. The Prince reached an out-of-court settlement with her in 2022. Sigrid McCawley was not only Giuffre's lawyer but also a friend, who fought back tears in a 60 Minutes interview aired on Sunday night. 'I used to say that we had broken through the lawyer-client line because she would sign her emails, 'I love you Siggy',' she recalled. 'She was just a dear person in my life. And I think that the world will not be the same without her. It just won't be.' The news of Giuffre's death shocked Ms McCawley. 'Overwhelming surprise and disbelief. True disbelief,' she recalled. 'It took me several hours to even come to terms with the fact that that was real.' Ms McCawley never feared that Giuffre would take her own life, despite the deep physical and mental scars her client carried. Her marriage to Robert Giuffre had recently broke down and she appeared to be estranged from the couple's teenage children. Then less than a month before her death, Giuffre took to social media claiming that she had renal failure and 'four days to live' following a crash involving a school bus. 'I was concerned about her physical health,' Ms McCawley said. 'Virginia is always someone to rally, so every time I talked to her, she could find the sunny side of something. So she was very, still very uplifted and we were focused on getting her care in the United States. 'That's why I think that the disbelief has been so strong. 'I just keep thinking I'm going to see her again. 'I think that while Virginia could face many demons in her life and and many villains, that moment of deprivation, I think was something that was more than she could handle.' Giuffre said she was just 16 when she was first abused by Epstein and Maxwell. Ms McCawley said Giuffre left behind a powerful legacy. 'She has left us with a feeling that irrespective of whether you're a president, a politician, a billionaire or a prince, that you can be held accountable. You are not above the law,' she said 'She put Epstein in prison. She put Maxwell in prison. 'She had Prince Andrew stripped of his titles. 'Her words, her actions were incredible, and they started a movement of change.' 60 Minutes also looked back on its 2019 interview with Giuffre after Epstein took his own life while behind bars. Traumatic memories came flooding back as she stood outside his former New York mansion almost 20 years prior. 'It's hard. It's really hard being back here... There's a lot of scars hidden behind those walls,' Giuffre recalled. 'It should be ripped down, it should be burned to the ground 'Some of my worst memories are from this place.'
