Lakeview Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025 announced
CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Lakeview High School has officially announced the 2025 Lakeview Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
According to a release from the school, this year's class represents a remarkable blend of a athletic excellence, community contribution, and coaching leadership that has helped shape the proud tradition of Lakeview Athletics.
The 2025 inductees include:
2014 & 2015 Lakeview High School Girls Golf Teams – Back-to-back state appearances which resulted in a state runner-up and a state championship.1990's Track Booster Club – Contributors – A dedicated group instrumental in fundraising for the county's first 8-lane all-weather track and for two decades of support through hostingprestigious Christner – Contributor – Longtime supporter whose behind-the-scenes work made alasting impact on Lakeview Neighbarger – Coach – Revered for her leadership and lasting influence Solarz – Class of 1983 – Outstanding multi-sport athlete who left a mark on Bulldogbaseball in the early 1980' Nochta – Class of 2006 – Distinguished golfer with state-level Smedi – Class of 2008 – Punishing linebacker who was the heart and soul of the 2007regional runner-up Moody – Class of 2009 – Record-setting two-sport champion whose speed anddetermination defined his Schattinger – Class of 2012 – A dynamic sprinter and one of the most decoratedathletes in Lakeview track and field history.
The 2025 Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted on Saturday, September 13 at DiLucia's Banquet Center in Warren, Ohio.
