This move follows the successful implementation of e-gates at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Neom Bay Airport, making Jeddah the third major Saudi airport to adopt this technology. King Abdulaziz International Airport welcomed 49.1 million passengers in 2024 across 278,000 flights, serving as a major entry point for pilgrims, business travelers, and tourists.
