Lorraine Kelly takes on her strangest job yet as she returns to work next week after surgery

LORRAINE Kelly has taken on her strangest job yet ahead of her return to daytime television following her recent op. The ITV star, who hopes to be back in front of the cameras next week, carried out an interview on board a bright orange milk float. 6 6 6 Before going into hospital, Lorraine had met up with Scots-born Angus McLean - the real life 'Nessie Milker' - who is embarking on a UK-wide milk float tour. Angus recently found viral fame after letting cameras peek behind-the-scenes of his Nessie Nectar milking business. Located on the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland, Angus has created a quirky new flavour of orange beverage, IRN-BRU. The milkman is now travelling from Loch Ness around the UK to deliver the latest limited-edition Nessie Nectar flavour, IRN-BRU XTRA, to fans. Speaking about her unusual interview with Nessie Milker, Lorraine said: "Oh, what a treat it was to meet Angus as he sets off on his big UK tour. 'Hearing all about his time working with one of Scotland's most famous legends was just magical. 'So keep your eyes peeled for that fabulous Nessie float as it makes a splash across the UK and don't forget to sort out your delivery while Angus is on his rounds.' Earlier this month, Lorraine sparked concern with fans by sharing a video from a hospital bed. The grandmother-of-one explained she was undergoing " preventative' surgery to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes. Wearing a hospital gown, Lorraine said she was waiting to have the "wee procedure" done. Lorraine Kelly reveals secret health battle as she shares photos from hospital ahead of surgery She added that surgeons would be removing her ovaries and fallopian tubes via keyhole surgery as she had "not been feeling well". Lorraine explained: "Just wanted to let you know I'm having a wee procedure today. I've not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out." She added: "It's purely preventative. It's going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible, I'm being very well looked after, and I'll obviously see you really soon, and I'm gonna be totally fine." The following day, Lorraine posted a photograph of herself in a wheelchair with her medical team and confirmed she had returned home to recover. Since her break began over the Bank Holiday, a rotating line-up of guest hosts have fronted her ITV show - including Sian Welby, Ranvir Singh and Andi Peters. But the legendary star is hoping to be back in her Lorraine armchair next week. Taking to Instagram today, she shared a beaming photo of herself, her surgeon and granddaughter Billie and said: "I had my check up l today and the fabulous Ahmed Raafat says I can go back to work on Monday - as long as I take it easy. "Billie obviously loved him." Lorraine previously described Billie as "the best medicine ever". To be in with a chance of catching a glimpse of Angus's float and tasting Nessie's Nectar, fans should send a text to McLean & Son's hotline on 07955 583726. 6 6 6
