The Netflix reboot of the Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert TV classic Little House on the Prairie is officially underway.
Netflix has released photos of the cast at the table read for the series, which includes Luke Bracey as Charles Ingalls, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline Ingalls, Alice Halsey as Laura Ingalls and Skywalker Hughes as Mary Ingalls.
The original Little House on the Prairie series starred Gilbert as Laura Ingalls and Landon as Charles Ingall, Karen Grassle and Caroline Ingalls, while Melissa Sue Anderson played Mary Ingalls.
Other cast members present at the table read for the Netflix reboot of the series were Warren Christie as John Edwards, Meegwun Fairbrother as Mitchell, Wren Zhawenim Gotts as Good Eagle, Alyssa Wapanatǎhk as White Sun and Jocko Sims as Dr. George Tann.
Per Netflix, the official logline for the new Little House on the Prairie reads, 'Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder's iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier.'
Netflix announced the reboot in January but has not yet indicated when the show will be premiering on the streaming platform.
