ITV anchor Richard Madeley, 69, made a play on her firm's business name and asked her if her Tuesday night residency at The Londesborough in Stoke Newington was "more fulfilling" than her pop heyday. Mel candidly replied: "At this moment in time it is. "It's really nice to do something for just me, my ego is enjoying this a little bit. "Being in a band was so amazing but it's shared experiences, opinions are shared. "Every decision is shared between four. "Having complete control over what you're doing is liberating." Mel rose to fame in 1997 as a member of the girl group All Saints along with Nicole and Natalie Appleton and Shaznay Lewis. During their heyday the group had five number one singles, two multi-platinum albums, two Brit Awards and have sold over 10 million records worldwide. MasterChef's Mel Blatt fights back the tears after judges give her critique on her food After four years together, All Saints parted ways in 2001. Later in the chat, the Never Ever hitmaker then opened up on the prospect of an All Saints reunion. When quizzed by Richard about a comeback, she said: "Honestly I don't think so. "The stage for me isn't my happy place any more." HAPPY PLACE Instead, the kitchen - with tunes blasting out on the radio - is her preferred way to earn cash. Her culinary talents were on display previously, on Celebrity MasterChef's 17th season. She reached the final back in 2022 after impressing with her beef and pancetta pie in the first round, and then sparked a fix row when she lost to Lisa Snowdon. The pop princess then returned to the show to assist with the judges during a later series. Now, mum of one Mel serves up her Fullfillings grub in the London eatery's celebrity chef spot. The menu has previously included a slow cooked beef patty or jerk chicken option, served up with chunky chips and gravy. A macaroni cheese burger is also a mouth watering option for veggies. Earlier this year, Mel took to her Instagram page to launch her new venture at the pub - as well as her new business brand. Alongside a series of snaps from her time in the kitchen she wrote: "This was the day I turned 50! "I spent it cooking for the people I love I thought it was the perfect moment to launch my new business @fullfillingsfood. "I'll be at @thelondesborough every Tuesday. Follow the FullFillings page for updates." In another upload, showing her with a fresh face and blonde hair tied up in a ponytail she wrote: "Chucking my dignity and vanity in the bin to bring you a day in the life prepping for a Tuesday @fullfillingsfood takeover @thelondesborough." 6 Mel told how her new role is 'something that's just me' and good for her ego Credit: ITV 6 The band were famed for hits including Pure Shores and Never Ever Credit: Rex

This Nepo baby with famous parents follows in his mother's musical footsteps - but can you guess who he is?
This Nepo baby with very famous parents has seemingly followed in his mother's musical footsteps as she promoted his rock group. The artist, who also has a very famous auntie, recently turned 21 and has since taken inspiration from his family roots as his mother shared a clip to Instagram of his band's latest hit. His mother is an icon in the industry as she and her sister bagged the second best-selling girl group single of all time in the UK after the Spice Girls ' Wannabe. His father is also a legend in the industry, as he was part of a famed electronic band and later became a producer, songwriter and DJ. And in a chaotic music video, the rising star showcased his musical talents as he rocked out playing a guitar. But can you guess who it is? This Nepo baby with very famous parents has seemingly followed in his mother's musical footsteps as she promoted her son's rock group - but can you guess who it is? That's right, it is Ace Howlett, who is the son of All Saints star Natalie Appleton, 51, and The Prodigy's Liam Howlett, 53. Ace channelled his heritage family's musical talents as he starred in a new music video. Natalie shared the clip to her social media grid, which has an impressive 114,000 followers, and tagged a range of social accounts to promote the hit. Natalie rose to fame with the girl band formed in 1993 alongside her sister Nicole Appleton, Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis. All Saints were formed back in 1993 by music manager Ron Tom, who later founded the Sugababes. Their debut self-titled album, released in 1997, went on to become the third best-selling girl group album of all time. Their single Never Ever is the second best-selling girl group single of all time in the UK after the Spice Girls' Wannabe. The last time the Pure Shores hit-makers got together was for their 2014 UK tour and they insist getting back together wasn't forced and they genuinely missed making music together. His father, Liam, born in Essex, began his musical career with classical piano lessons before discovering hip-hop and breakdancing as a teenager. In 1990, he founded The Prodigy, mixing rave, techno and punk to create a thrilling new sound. Albums like Experience (1992), Music for the Jilted Generation (1994) and the worldwide smash The Fat of the Land (1997) cemented their place in music history. As the band's main songwriter and producer, Liam's use of sampling and electronic beats helped define the 1990s big beat scene.

His proud mum took to Instagram to plug a video of his band's new single. Ace is a guitarist for the Camden based group, Pedestrian Band. Natalie often posts videos from his gigs, as she helps him get a leg up in the musical world. But it's no wonder he has pursued a career as a rocker, as his A-list musical roots don't stop with his parents. As he is the son of Natalie, his auntie is her sister, and fellow All Saints singer, Nicole Appleton, 50. So this means, he is related to Liam Gallagher, 52, as he is Nicole's ex-husband. And also, his cousin is Gene Gallagher, 23, the former couple's son. Ace's parents have been together for 25 years after they met at V Festival in 2000. The happy couple then were married in France two years later. Official music video for One Strike by All Saints Natalie also has an older daughter Rachel, 32, from a previous relationship. The singer shares her eldest child with her ex Carl Robinson. She was 17 when she met Carl - then 37 - who was a stripper with The Dreamboys at the time. In 1993 they moved to New York and tied the knot but she shortly returned to the UK after having their marriage annulled. 7 Natalie also has a daughter, Rachel Credit: Heathcliff O'Malley/Shutterstock FINDING FAME Meanwhile, Natalie and her sister Nicole shot to fame in 1996 alongside Shaznay Lewis and Melanie Blatt in the girl band All Saints. The group proved a massive hit and brought fans songs like Pure Shores, Black Coffee, and Never Ever. The foursome became huge stars, with Nicole and Natalie going on to date some big celebrities, which included Robbie Williams. However, despite their fame, the All Saints split in 2001 following reports of "in fighting". They briefly got back together in 2016, before going their separate ways again not long after.
