This is taking place in the Peppa Pig Live show which is coming to Cardiff. Peppa Pig Live is back with a brand-new stage show, Peppa Pig's Big Family Show. The production will show the family get ready for the new arrival. With building and decorating work to be done, it's an oinktastic makeover, and Peppa Pig, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, and George need to get everything ready before the big day. Based on the much-loved animated preschool TV series, Peppa Pig's Big Family Show is packed full of music, adventure, and surprises for little ones as Peppa's family prepares for the arrival of a new baby. Peppa Pig's Big Family Show will come to the New Theatre in Cardiff from Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to Thursday, August 6, 2026. Tickets are on sale now and you can buy them, here. Produced by Fierylight in collaboration with leading games, IP and toy company Hasbro, the tour opens in October 2025 with Peppa and Friends touring the UK until September 2026. Article continues below It will also show in the West End for the festive season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from Friday, December 5 until Sunday, January 4. For over 15 years, audiences have been thrilled to see Peppa and friends live on stage in seven hugely popular tours, with over 2.5 million fans joining in the fun and games in the UK alone. True crime production to bring live murder trial to stage
A true crime production is set to be performed in Cardiff. Tigerslane Studios has announced the launch of the third season of its 'true crime meets theatre' show. Murder Trial Tonight- The Doorstep Case began its UK and Ireland run in February, bringing a live murder trial to the stage. The unique show begins with a cinematic introduction to a true crime story before moving to the stage for a live courtroom experience. The audience plays a key role as members of the jury, listening intently as both the prosecution and defence present their cases, cross-examine witnesses, and then the audience delivers a verdict. At the end of the trial, footage of the murder is revealed, allowing the audience to question whether they have made the right decision. The show is based on real events, but with a disclaimer that names, dates, and events have been changed for dramatic purposes. "This isn't just a theatre play; it's a social experiment," said the show's West End director, Graham Watts. "We aim to challenge perceptions and engage our audience in a way that goes beyond traditional theatre." The new season will tour the UK and Ireland from February to June 2025, stopping in Cardiff for two nights on April 19 and 20. Tickets for the upcoming season are now on sale. A&H converts profitable businesses with diverse, hardworking teams into 100 percent employee-owned enterprises by providing loans for upfront financing and consulting support to help new employee owners succeed. This model rewards the employees who have contributed to these companies' success, giving them a stake in the company's future growth and creating more resilient enterprises. To date, A&H has transitioned businesses with a combined value of $65 million to employee ownership, benefiting hundreds of workers and their families. Community Health Impact Coalition (CHIC) is a global movement of community health workers (CHWs) and health organizations making professional the norm in community health—ensuring CHWs are salaried, skilled, supervised, and supplied to deliver quality care. Indisputable evidence demonstrates that CHWs dramatically improve health outcomes and save lives worldwide. Yet millions of CHWs—70 percent of whom are women—remain outside the formal health system. Despite decades of global health investment, one billion people who need care will never see a health worker. CHIC's work was fundamental to enacting landmark 2018 WHO guidelines that shaped CHW-supportive policies in 194 countries. As a result, 47 countries now recognize and accredit CHWs within their national health policy. EarthEnable improves the health and living conditions of rural African families and reduces the housing industry's carbon footprint by working with community-based entrepreneurs and local masons to develop and install more affordable, sustainable housing materials. Worldwide, 1.6 billion people live in homes with dirt floors, which can house parasites and spread disease. Concrete is commonly used for flooring, but expensive for many, difficult to transport, and carbon-intensive to produce. EarthEnable is catalyzing a green housing industry in Africa, helping position the continent to advance a sustainable building sector. This reduces absenteeism and enables students to learn and thrive. Healthy Learners works with 600 schools and serves more than 980,000 children across eight of Zambia's 10 provinces. With Africa projected to be home to an estimated 42 percent of global youth by 2030, now is a critical time to ensure children have access to health and education. By 2028, Healthy Learners aims to reach 2.5 million children, or 70 percent of the primary school population. Pacto pela Democracia (Pact for Democracy) is coordinating the non-partisan pro-democracy movement in Brazil, facilitating a broad coalition to counter anti-democratic forces and build trust in democratic institutions. Pacto pela Democracia has galvanized a cross-ideological coalition of more than 200 civil society partners united to preserve stability and democratic rule of law in Brazil. The coalition cultivates relationships with business leaders, academics, and journalists to build a cohesive, coordinated, and aligned pro-democracy ecosystem. Their work today has proved vital as rising autocratic threats, disinformation campaigns, and election-related violence are testing the resilience of democratic institutions. These efforts enabled the coalition to successfully protect the process and results of the 2022 Brazilian election, coordinating and deploying more than 80 collaborative actions to monitor and respond to election-related threats.

Rick Stein came to Cardiff and these are the three places he chose to eat at
Celebrity chef Rick Stein has revealed he came to Cardiff and visited three well known restaurants in the city. On Instagram, the restaurateur, writer and television presenter revealed he had a "great stay" in the Welsh capital. Stein revealed he had stayed at voco St. David's Cardiff hotel, and eaten at three establishments while in the city - Pasture, The Ivy Asia and Heathcock. It seemed that the celebrity chef was in Cardiff for his event - An Evening With Rick Stein at the New Theatre, which happened in early March. In January, the Llandaff gastropub, Heathcock, was awarded the prestigious Bib Gourmand accolade at the Michelin Guide awards ceremony in Glasgow, which you can read more about here. Meanwhile, Ivy Asia opened its doors to Cardiff in autumn of 2022 and is located in the Hayes right next to its sister restaurant - the Ivy. Since then, the restaurant has been a popular place to eat delicious food and enjoy opulent decor in the form of two huge fake cherry trees and green onyx floors. Pasture, situated right next to its sister restaurant Parallel on St Mary's Street, is regularly booked up and is known for its fire-based cooking. In 2023, it was named one of the best fine dining restaurants in Britain in the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Awards. Stein's show at the New Theatre came as part of the chef's tour to different parts of the UK, in which he spoke about his "lifelong love affair" with cooking, as well as his upbringing and culinary success. The chef took his tour to Cardiff, as well as places such as Brighton, Cheltenham and Reading.

Comedy stars set to perform at Peterborough theatres
Comedy stars are set to perform at two Peterborough theatres. On Saturday, April 12, the Anglia Comedy Allstars will be at the New Theatre. The line-up includes Simon Amstell, Sarah Keyworth, Josh Pugh, and Russell Hicks. Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 8pm. Tickets are available for £26.50, including all fees. The Best in Comedy (Image: The Best in Comedy) Simon Amstell, known for his stand-up confessional style, is a comedian, presenter, screenwriter, and director with his own Netflix stand-up special, Set Free. He has also fronted popular programmes like Channel 4's Popworld and BBC Two's Never Mind The Buzzcocks. On Friday, May 16, the Best in Comedy show will come to the Key Theatre. The line-up includes Seann Walsh, Rhys James, Amy Gledhill, and Matt Richardson. Tickets for this show cost £25, including all fees. Seann Walsh, an Edinburgh Award nominee, has been described by The Guardian as "the best observational comedian of his generation." He has starred in Netflix's Flinch, Live at the Apollo, and 8 Out of 10 Cats. Both line-ups are subject to change without notice.
