Jalen Brunson had the classiest gesture for Jayson Tatum after Celtics star's injury
Jalen Brunson made sure to not make the New York Knicks' postgame press conference all about their thrilling playoff win in Game 4 over the Boston Celtics. As soon as the superstar guard sat down with reporters -- and just after one started asking a question -- he interrupted (he apologized for the interruption, too) to send his best to Jayson Tatum, who suffered what could be a devastating injury late in the playoff contest. "Prayers out to JT, man. I just wanted to say that first and foremost," he said. "Thoughts and prayers with him. Just praying for the best." The Magic hilariously played the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme during the Trae Young ejection
The Magic hilariously played the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme during the Trae Young ejection Trae Young T'd up for throwing ball at ref Then takes ball and won't give it to ref Then ejected Then escorted out to Curb Your Enthusiasm music — New York Basketball (@NBA_NewYork) April 16, 2025 It helps to host a play-in game on your home court and it showed as much when the Orlando Magic hosted the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night. Orlando defeated Atlanta and despite a tremendous performance from Trae Young, the four-time All-Star guard was ejected after he received his second technical foul of the evening. He received the technical for throwing a ball at a referee, then taking the ball and not giving it to the referee. On his way into the locker room, meanwhile, the Magic cleverly decided to play the theme music to Curb Your Enthusiasm. This was a genuinely hilarious choice by whoever made the decision. After the game, crew chief James Williams said Young was making a "mockery" of the game. This is exactly the type of language you would hear about Curb star Larry David would get accused of if he played professional basketball. Great work, Orlando.
