Charles Barkley roasted Spike Lee for saying he'd give up an Oscar for a Knicks title win
Charles Barkley roasted Spike Lee for saying he'd give up an Oscar for a Knicks title win The New York Knights were in the fight for their season on Thursday night in Game 5 of their NBA playoff series against the Indiana Pacers, and mega-fan Spike Lee was in attendance at Madison Square Garden to cheer on his favorite team. As he joined the Inside the NBA crew before the game, Lee admitted he'd really give up one of his Academy Awards for New York to win a championship. That's a big deal for an all-time auteur like Lee to say! However, Charles Barkley made sure to get a dig in at his Capital One commercial co-star and his odds of giving up that Oscar for a New York championship any time soon. "Well, you're gonna keep 'em," Barkley said to Lee, who got a big kick out of the former's snarky retort. Lee has given us so many great films over the years, so maybe he'll get a Knicks championship one day in return for all the phenomenal cinema he has contributed to the world. Until then, we're sure Barkley will have fun trolling him over the lack of recent New York rings.

Ravens QB Breaks Into Sports Ownership Role
Since turning pro in the NFL, Lamar Jackson has had much success. While a Super Bowl championship still eludes him, the Baltimore Ravens have been one of the most consistent teams since his arrival, and he's earned two NFL MVP awards. Jackson also recently broke into acting, appearing on the popular Starz series, "Power Book III: Raising Kanan." Advertisement But he's also expanding his sports horizons. The former Heisman Trophy winner just kicked off his first season as the lead owner of the Maryland Colts, a horse racing team participating in the National Thoroughbred League. Jackson served as the host on Saturday for the Pimlico Cup in Baltimore, the league's first event of the season. The New York Knights claimed the win in the three-race competition. It was New York Knights owner Randall Lane who first got Jackson interested in the sport, inviting the Ravens quarterback to last year's Preakness Stakes in Baltimore. 'He saw the power of the [horse racing] industry in Maryland,' Lane told the Baltimore Banner. 'It's a big industry in Maryland and means a lot to Maryland.' Advertisement Jackson didn't make himself available for the media, but did embrace his role as host by signing autographs for children who were present. 'Lamar came in as the lead owner under one condition: that he comes in and has an impact on Baltimore,' Lane said. 'Obviously, he has plenty of money. He likes the investment. ... But he likes it as a social vehicle, and that was our job to execute on that. 'It was a great day for the NTL, but it was a great day for Pimlico, a great day for Baltimore. It was really about the community.' Related: Ravens Draft Could Shock NFL By Producing Multiple Starters Related: Ravens Coach Reacts to Star QB Acting Debut
