Victorian Extravaganza event held at Blaenavon Ironworks
The event, which took place over the weekend of May 10 and May 11, featured historical re-enactments including appearances by a Queen Victoria lookalike, in addition to her soldiers and subjects, provided by the Ragged Victorians group.
It also included performances by 'Juggling Jim', and a visit from the Newport Model Engineering Society.
Free children's trails were available, as were a variety of historically accurate Victorian games, during the event which ran from 10am to 4pm each day.

Blaenavon Iron Works, the location of the BBC series Coal House, is the most significant landmark in the Industrial Landscape of Blaenavon.
The ironworks, which started production in 1789 is the best preserved blast furnace of its time to survive from the beginning of the industrial revolution.
During the beginning of the nineteenth century, the ironworks one of the most important iron producers in the world.
