Residents in Washington Heights experience random harassment
NEW YORK (PIX11) — Some residents in Washington Heights are complaining about a man randomly harassing and assaulting them.
Police are looking into several incidents that happened in the confines of the 33rd and 34th precincts.

Council Member Carmen De La Rosa has shared updates and a call to action with Washington Heights and Inwood residents who have recently experienced harassment and assault on the street.
De La Rosa is urging residents to file police reports if needed to advance these cases and help police find the person responsible.
De La Rosa believes the same man is responsible for many of the incidents, she said the man is going after women, children and pets.
One woman said last month, the man bumped her with his body near 180th Street, grabbed a lanyard around her next, and blew smoke in her face.
