Southwest Missouri man dies in single-vehicle crash Saturday morning
NEWTON CO., Mo. – A Diamond man suffered fatal injuries after crashing his car early Saturday morning. The crash happened around 7:45 on Highway 60 about one mile west of Granby. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers along with Newton County Sheriff's deputies responded to the crash site. That's where they say a 28-year-old man, who was driving a Jeep Cherokee, ran off the road and overturned, ejecting him. The Newton County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene. Newton County man dies in Highway 60 wreck
NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Diamond died in a single-vehicle wreck on Saturday morning, May 17. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, the crash occurred at around 7:46 a.m. around one mile west of Granby on U.S. 60. The report says a 28-year-old male who was driving a 2022 Jeep Cherokee ran off the roadway. The vehicle overturned, ejecting him. The man was pronounced deceased on the scene by Newton County Coroner Dale Owen. Next of kin have been notified, per the MSHP. According to the report, the man was not wearing a seat belt.
