Mayor of Flavortown Guy Fieri posts proud dad Instagram after son Hunter graduates in Florida
The Mayor of Flavortown is one proud papa. On May 8, Guy Fieri, longtime Food Network star and culinary icon, celebrated his son Hunter Fieri's college graduation. 'I have have so many blessings in my life, but the biggest and most important always revolve around my family,' the host of Food Network's longtime show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" wrote on Instagram, tagging his three boys, one of which is his nephew, whom he's raising. 'Hard work and determination! Working on Hunt Ryde Wine company, shooting multiple, being on the road, and getting an MBA. The road to success!! So proud of you, Hunter." Hunter Fieri graduated from the class of 2025 with a master's degree in business administration (or MBA) from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. Over the years, he's appeared on TV with his famous father, like Food Network's "Tournament of Champions," and making a name for himself in the culinary world. Up next for Hunter Fieri? He will marry his fiancee Tara Bernstein in mid-June 2025 at his father's ranch in California. His brother, Ryder Fieri, graduated from high school in California in 2024. With a home in California, Guy Fieri and his family seem to split their time between the West Coast and East Coast. The pop culture phenomenon − there is no actual Flavortown, USA, by the way, though Guy Fieri uses the mayor title proudly − has several ties to Florida: Guy Fieri has filmed several episodes of his various Food Network and Cooking Channel shows in Florida since he made his reality TV debut winning season two of "Next Food Network Star." Guy Fieri moved here in 2021, buying a home in Lake Worth Beach in Palm Beach County. He has referred to it as the "Flavortown Mansion." Like other superstar Food Network chefs, Guy Fieri's a frequent headliner at the annual South Beach Food and Wine Festival in Miami. Florida on Food Network: Guy Fieri spotlights this restaurant on 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' around Memorial Day 2025 Most recently, Guy Fieri highlighted another Gainesville, Florida, restaurant, Bingo Deli and Pub, on his popular "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" show with an episode that aired May 9. Five other Gainesville restaurants featured on that show include Fehrenbacher's Meats and Eats, Humble Wood Fire Bagel Shop, the Paper Bag, Uppercrust and Germain's Chicken Sandwiches, according to the Gainesville Sun, a USA TODAY Network newspaper. And that's not all: Close to the Memorial Day holiday, Guy Fieri will showcase a Naples, Florida, restaurant in the May 23, 2025, episode, reporting from the Naples Daily News, a USA TODAY Network newspaper, shows. In the "Hunter Fieri graduation" Instagram video that Guy Fieri posted to his social media networks, the proud father can be heard cheering when his son walked on stage to collect his diploma. Hunter Fieri proudly displayed the "hand gesture" for the University of Miami in the Instagram Reel, too, sparking cheers from the crowd.
