Justin Bieber Welcomes Chris Brown ‘Home' After His Arrest In London

Last Updated: Both singers worked together in 2011 on the song Next To You. They also collaborated on Don't Check On Me. Justin Bieber recently showed support for his longtime friend and fellow singer Chris Brown, who returned to the US after facing legal troubles in the UK. The Grammy-winning artist was arrested on May 15 on charges of assaulting a music producer at a London nightclub in 2023. He was taken into custody at a Manchester hotel and charged with one count of causing grievous bodily harm. Nearly a week after his arrest, Chris was released on bail. His return was met with a warm welcome from fans and well-wishers, with Bieber among those publicly expressing support. Taking to his Instagram account on Thursday, May 22, Chris shared his first picture following the legal soup. Dressed in a grey sweatshirt and white trousers, the Look at Me Now singer was seen getting down from his private jet. In the caption, he wrote, 'Cook, remain humble," followed by a red heart emoji. In no time, Chris received thousands of warm, welcoming messages from his well-wishers and fans, and Justin was also among them. In the comments section, the Baby singer wrote, 'Welcome home". Chris and Justin's bond goes back years. Both singers worked together in 2011 on the song Next To You, and eight years ago, the two collaborated on Don't Check On Me, also featuring Ink. FYI, Chris was arrested last week after being charged with 'grievous bodily harm." The arrest was related to an alleged assault that took place between him and producer Abe Diaw in February 2023. In November of that year, Abe sued the singer, accusing him of using 'crushing blows" to hit him in the head, as reported by People. Chris was denied bail on May 16. However, he was granted a $6.7 million bail on May 21 at the Southwark Crown Court. Well, this isn't the first time that Justin showed his support to the 36-year-old singer and songwriter. Back in 2019, he shared a post on his Instagram account, emphasising that Chris is a combination of the legendary hip-hop icon Michael Jackson and rapper Tupac Shakur. In the caption, Justin wrote, 'Everyone wants to wait till people die to give them the credit they deserve." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) He continued, 'I'm calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time … trust me, watch you will see. the people who have overlooked this man's talent … you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial." First Published:
