Riverside invites residents to join Community Cleanup Day event
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – In honor of Earth Day, Riverside will host a Community Cleanup Day on Saturday.
Residents are encouraged to drop off yard waste and bulk items – including furniture, scrap materials and a maximum of 10 tires per vehicle.
The event will be in the Huberville plat (near Huberville and Esther avenues) on April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be an ID check to ensure the people participating are residents of Riverside. Signs will guide traffic to drop-off spots.

'I encourage residents to go a step further by picking up litter, planting flowers or finding other ways to beautify their neighborhoods.
'This event provides an easy and impactful way for everyone to get involved and help make Riverside cleaner and greener.'
Items not accepted include paint, oil, fire extinguishers, flammable liquids, aerosols, batteries, chemicals, light bulbs, medical waste, explosives and other hazardous items.
