Juventus earned over 100m from sale of Next Gen players
Nicolò Fagioli was the latest player of the Juventus academy to leave the club, and Gazzetta reports that the Bianconeri have earned over €100m from the sales of NextGen players in the last two transfer windows. The Italy international joined Fiorentina on the deadline day. The Tuscans paid €2.5m for the player's loan until the end of the season and have an obligation to buy for €13.5m plus €3m add-ons. Fagioli was only the latest product of the Juventus academy to leave the club over the last seven months. As reported by Gazzetta, the Old Lady earned €103m from the sales of NextGen players during the last two transfer windows: summer 2024 and January 2025. The highest income came from Matias Soulé's move to Roma for €25.6m last summer, but the list also includes Dean Huijsen, who joined Bournemouth for €15.2m plus add-ons and a sell-on clause, Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling Junior, who signed for Aston Villa in the summer for a combined €22m fee. Kaio Jorge, Koni De Winter and Hans Nicolussi Caviglia are other former Juventus NextGen players who left Turin at the start of the current campaign. Juventus was the first Serie A club to establish a second squad – the Juventus NextGen – to play in Italy's third division, Serie C. This allowed young footballers to play in a professional league rather than Primavera and be more prepared for first-team football.

Revealed: Roma and Fiorentina swap Cristante-Richardson collapsed
In the final frantic moments of the winter transfer market, Fiorentina had considered the possibility of signing Bryan Cristante. The Roma midfielder had been put on the market after failing to convince the management following his return from injury. According to TMW, the Tuscan club had identified the Giallorossi man as an ideal reinforcement for the midfield, in the event that the negotiations for Nicolò Fagioli had not been unblocked. The operation included an exchange with Amir Richardson, the 23-year-old Moroccan midfielder who joined Fiorentina last summer from Reims, who would have moved to Roma in exchange for the former Atalantaplayer. However, with Fagioli's arrival in Viola, the negotiation remained just a market idea without any concrete developments. The Giallorossi then signedthe Frenchman Gourna-Douath from Salzburg.

Nicolò Fagioli wants to leave Juventus for Marseille
According to a report from Foot Mercato, Nicolò Fagioli (23) wants to leave Juventus and join Olympique de Marseille this winter. Fagioli has struggled in recent months to nail down a place in Thiago Motta's team and is excited by the prospect of relaunching his career under Roberto De Zerbi's management. This is an opportune time for the Italian as Marseille have been in search of reinforcements during the ongoing transfer window and want to secure his signature on a loan but with an option to buy. This is particularly due to the situation surrounding the summer signing Ismaël Koné (22). De Zerbi confirmed in a press conference that the club will be looking to part ways with the Canadian international this winter following several underwhelming performances in the Marseille shirt. The former Watford player was not part of training at the end of last week and was not included in the matchday squad that lost away to OGC Nice. GFFN | Nick Hartland
