Sports Direct launches summer campaign ahead of Women's Euro 2025
Sports Direct 's new summer campaign kicks off with… football. That's unsurprising given that the Women's Euro tournament kicks off in just days and England squad members play a central role. The sportswear, fitness and footwear retail giant has released 'Legacy Starts Here', featuring some of women's football's biggest stars and legends, including Lucy Bronze, Grace Clinton, Guro Reiten, Sandy Baltimore, and Jill Scott. And according to chief customer officer David Clark the campaign 'captures the energy, ambition and unstoppable drive of women competing in football today', while also fuel[ling] the momentum… empowering female athletes and inspiring the next generation.' The campaign follows a full-blown game of park football in London featuring England and Manchester United star Grace Clinton who kicks off the game and encourages a passerby to get involved. Then there are Chelsea stars and WSL champions Sandy Baltimore and Guro Reiten with Hashtag United's Freda Ayisi and Chelsea and England star Lucy Bronze taking part alongside broadcast personalities the Kmita Twins. As for product, the campaign shows a selection of football favourites including the England Nike shirt, Adidas F50 Sparkfusion, Nike Phantom Fear Nothing Pack, Adidas Euro 2025 football, the women's specific Puma Brilliance Pack football boots, and Score Draw retro football jerseys.
