SharkNinja recalled more than 2 million Ninja Foodi OP300 Series pressure cookers in the United States and Canada after 106 reports of burn injuries, including more than 50 second- or third-degree burns. It added that the burns occurred after some consumers were "able to open the pressure-cooking lids of certain units of these cookers during use, resulting in burn injuries from hot contents.' The cookers are easily identifiable, as they have "Ninja" printed on the front of the unit as well as on the product label. The model numbers in the recall include OP300, OP301, OP301A, OP302, OP302BRN, OP302HCN, OP302HAQ, OP302HW, OP302HB, OP305, OP305CO, and OP350CO. The model numbers can be found printed on a label on the side of the cooker. The recall notice in Canada also added that it includes "any replacement pressure-cooking lids for these models that consumers may have purchased from SharkNinja separately as service parts." "Consumers should immediately stop using the product's pressure-cooking function and contact SharkNinja for a free replacement lid," the recall noted. Nearly two million pressure cookers from SharkNinja have been recalled after horrific stories emerged of customers suffering third degree burns while they were in use. The Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cooker has been reported to have hazardous lids that can pop open during usage. The design fault allows hot food to escape, resulting in serious burn injuries. The recalled products were sold at Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, and Target stores nationwide, as well as the company's website between January 2019 and March 2025 for about $200.
