Years later, Jr NTR became a prominent name in the South film industry, and soon he became the leading star in the Telugu film industry. Jr NTR was last in the pan-India film Devara: Part 1, starring alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Over the years, it is noticeable that many actors demand a huge paycheck for their projects. Now there is nothing to be amused by, since many actors in the industry charge a hefty amount. Talking about SS Rajamouli's blockbuster film RRR, Jr NTR reportedly demanded Rs 45 crore. The teaser released today on Jr NTR's birthday portrays him in a fierce and intense avatar, portraying a morally complex antagonist who declares war on Hrithik Roshan's character, Major Kabir Dhaliwal , a seasoned RAW agent. 'War 2' is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2025, just ahead of Independence Day. Jr NTR's next big film after 'War 2' will be 'NTRNeel', an action-packed drama directed by Prashanth Neel. Initially, the makers planned to release the first glimpse of 'NTRNeel' on Jr NTR's 42nd birthday, May 20. However, to give full attention and spotlight to the War 2 teaser and promotions, the team decided to postpone the NTRNeel glimpse. In 2023, SS Rajamouli announced a new project titled Made in India, a biopic based on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke. "The story chronicles the birth and rise of Indian Cinema, and NTR was surprised with the detailing. He is excited to play the father of Indian Cinema on the big screen," revealed our source.
