Hyderabad to host three-day paper expo from June 6
A three-day exhibition on the paper industry PAPEXPO 2025 will be organised in Hyderabad from June 6 by the Paper Foundation.
More than 100 exhibitors from the country and abroad are set to showcase their latest innovations and products across areas, from paper manufacturing, converting, printing, and packaging to recycling, at the exhibition that is expected to receive 15,000 visitors.
Union Ministry of MSME, Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association (IPPTA), and the Federation of Paper Traders' Associations of India (FPTA) are supporting PAPEXPO, the organisers said in a release.
Paper Foundation said the exhibition will serve as a forum to highlight issues facing the industry, including lowest per capita paper consumption. It will also be an effort to underscore the eco-friendly evolution of paper and its vital role in sustainable development,' Papyrus Expo LLP CEO Nirmal Kuhad said.
The paper industry is also seeking policy support from Telangana Government, including creation of a dedicated Paper Industrial Park, improved logistics infrastructure, and access to affordable utilities to enhance competitiveness.
Technical seminars with speakers from the industry form part of the event, the organisers said.
