In an emotional note, Simple wrote, 'Losing your best friend is difficult, but losing a beautiful soul even more… You taught us about magic! Magic of feeling grateful, everyday in every moment, magic of feeling the present and feeling thankful for each and every experience. You lived with love. You manifested a beautiful life filled with loving friends and travel!' She continued by praising Vibhu's selfless nature and resilience, 'Even in the most painful moments you lived without complain and heard everybody else's problems. 'As I scroll through these pictures (which are many and even more in my phone), I see such beautiful moments spent together—our travels to Dharamshala for healing, scooting together, working in cafés, doing Christmas décor, clicking the best pictures of each other, eating the best food, going out with friends old and new, reading together, watching shows, making pasta sometimes on Sundays, hearing each other out at homemade breakfast, dancing at 1BHK on Sundays with live music, drinking wine and laughing with friends. ' She ended the note with tearful gratitude: 'You lived it all. As I scroll through, I have tears in my eyes and love in my heart for the magic you created in each of our hearts. We will always be grateful for your magic and we know you're creating magic up there too, my dear Vibhu.'
