Iraq and Turkey stress the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination to enhance common interests

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ankara, Majid Al-Lajmawi, and the Undersecretary of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Noah Yilmaz, stressed today, Thursday, the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination between the two countries to enhance common interests.
The Iraqi Embassy in Ankara said in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ankara, Majid Al-Lajmawi, discussed with the Undersecretary of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Noah Yilmaz, bilateral relations between the two countries and regional developments."
It added that "the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, witnessed a discussion of ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common interest at the regional and international levels."
The two sides stressed - according to the statement - "the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination between Iraq and Turkey, in a way that enhances common interests and contributes to supporting security and stability in the region."
