FAA investigates plane crash leaving two injured near Yuba County Airport
( — Federal Aviation Administration officials are investigating a small plane crash in Yuba County on Saturday morning.
According to the FAA, a North American T-2B that had two people on board crashed near the Yuba County Airport in Marysville at around 10:22 a.m.
The Yuba County Sheriff's Office received a report of a private aircraft that had executed an emergency landing in the area of Feather River Boulevard and Curtis Road.
YCSO stated that even though the aircraft landed without striking any objects on the ground, it sustained significant damage upon landing. Both of the occupants who were on board have been transported to a local hospital with injuries reported to be minor to moderate.

At this time, the cause of the emergency landing is under investigation, according to YCSO.
YCSO stated that the deputies who responded to the scene will be completing a report, which will be sent to the FAA following their investigation protocol.
